Haha, I wouldn't spray cleaning products on your weed. If you MUST, spray a leaf and
wait a couple days to see if it dies or burns or whatever. But I would avoid spraying simple green on them all together.

I don't think this is the kind of 'green' they were thinking about when they named their product

Dude I read something that messed me up in the head. I was reading about the Rhizosphere, the cycle of life needed for soil and plants to exist. It does not exist without bugs, mites and bugs will always be there. Its your business to make sure your plant is strong enough to tolerate them and that they dont get out of hand. Infestations stem from molded, dead, and rotting plants, combine that with healthy plants and an uninformed grower, BAM, bugs took over. The best pest control is a clean enviorment and healthy genetics. Only clone a mother for a year and get a new one, cloning weakens genetics and their immune system that fights BUGS!!! You can look all this information up

very interesting thank you for that knowledge. still want the spider mites dead though they are under control and my plant with them is quarantined from the others. how much stress would it cause if I completely changed the soil and rinsed my roots clean

SimpleGreen is a very harsh cleaning agent, I would never risk use of it. Try diluted dish soap and water.
