As title reads I ordered from choice seed bank and got my package yesterday. What's the best way to store or does it matter what I do with them.
BTW ordered on march 7 received march 19. Very happy!!!

I talked to a major Mexican grower and he told me he stores his beans at 40 degrees F. He said that is the best temperature for long-term (more than 90 days) storage.

Good luck, BigSteve.

Put the seeds in a zip-lock bag. Put maybe 1/4 cup up white rice in with them. Toss them in your fridge.

Retrieve and regrow as you wish.

Yeah I keep mine in ziplock baggies in a tin in the fridge. Never had germinating problems and have grow 6 month seeds with no problem. Never kept seeds longer than that.

I keep mine in black film containers with silica desiccant packs, and I have the film containers inside a larger black tupperware container. This is kept in the back of my fridge.

I think all you need is temperature and humidity stability. I put my seeds in a little dram jar sold at the smoke shop. A plastic zip-lock would be ok too. I put these in a small plastic container. The airtight dram jars create one temperature buffer. The plastic container creates another. I put rice in each container with the seeds. This stabilizes humidity and temperature.

Desiccant packs may be better than rice. For me the rice doesn't dry the container(s), it just makes it more temperate/stable.
