This is not to be considered a full tutorial on cloning.
Knowing the basics first will help in this throw together simple method.

I basicly make a Hempy cup with drain hole 2" from bottom of cup.Wrap my cutting in polyurethane foam with about 40% compression.Put the wrap flush in the cup with,or without medium.I just water daily with PH 6 tap to keep damp.No hormones needed,and PH'ed tap is cheap enough to use.Do not tug cutting,and in a week start adding a weak nute solution.In two weeks I have roots visible in drain hole,with visible vegetative growth.I had cuttings that looked like crap root,and flourish.
I keep cutting stem wet at all times,and sterile blade I will dip in water before cut.I leave on as much leafset on as possible.
18/6 or 24/0 photoperiods work fine.65-75*F temps work fine with less chance of harmfull microbial growth.I precut foam strips.Soak them in a mild bleach solution,and squeeze rinse out good.I try to leave a gap for later RHR (roots hit res) feeding.
More surface area exposed than a 45* cut.
A little scrape up,and opposite of primary cut for good measure.
leave some leaf.....

he foam tends to cavitate when folded over.Use cavity side up.
Note cutting placement before fold around wrap.
Add medium around wrap to maintain 40% compression,and leave a gap for later RHR (roots hit res) watering.Keep damp.
I just maintain the same light height,and intensity.PC fan helps some with 30 min on/off just to keep some airflow goin,and moves warmer top of cab air more evenly to rest of cab.Fresh air is my daily opening,and watering daily enough to keep foam/cutting moist.
