hmmm topping a scrog crop interesting i havent seen that before lol....lol yeah i turned a simple thing like Jamie saying she topped into a dirty dirty thing lol
No not required, i just thought most did this... i know you dont have too...i also dont think you need to post that message like that... maybe something along the lines ofIs it required that you top with SCROG? ........I'm pretty sure I know the answer...do you?
Nah...I like the way I said it better. No not required, i just thought most did this... i know you dont have too...i also dont think you need to post that message like that... maybe something along the lines of
"you dont have to top a SCROG grow"
would have been a better way to put that.
My tops are 30 inches and much thicker than cucumbersI've topped, but there's something pretty about a 8 - 10 inch top thats as thick as a cucumber
Yeah man i can see from your gallery pics that your an expert in growing leafs..........Sigh...
A: You didn't grow enough plants to fill your room
B: You have height restrictions.
C: You have a crazy amount of veg time ahead of you.
D: You grow room is under contruction
E: The dog ate your other plants that you were planning to flower
F: Etc.
You are in effect stunting the plant, and again I can almost guarantee with equal amount of veg time a plant a topped plant will almost undoubtedly lose in total yield to a plant that hasn't been topped.
Top for multi cholas ... But they never be the same as the true chola would have been so the yeilds normally balance them selfs out
lst is the way to do it from the min the 1st leaves show untill your ready 2 harvest
Yeah man i can see from your gallery pics that your an expert in growing leafs
Yeah man your the best grower in the world lmfaoHaha...good one, shame I have a better variety of plants in one rockwool tray then you'll probably see in your lifetime.
Ok, maybe tie it over (maybe), some bending and whatnot....to top it and claim your getting a better yield...
The only thing that maybe, just maybe makes me disagree with the "possiblity" that you can increase yield through LST is that the plant is growing as designed by nature to maximize light availability through growth. We are manipulating the design of nature when we bend and crimp and whatnot. IMO mother nature knows best when it comes to growth to obtain light, but still blast them things with our man made nutes!
I am not hostile at all.Don't get mad and start talking trash cause your not intelligent enough to debate. Hostility is a sign of insecurity and defeat.
In your "x" amount of posts, I don't know you, never was made self aware that you existed, so I can only assume your contributions are minimal. Irregardless I haven't spent much time assessing my "feelings" for natmoon...lolI am not hostile at all.
I don't like you,i never have, your a hater that thinks he knows everything.
HAHAHAHAHAHA
I don't disagree that topping doesn't have it's place. SOG according to conventional thinking is the most efficient way of producing large yield. Not too many SOG grows out there that are topped, pretty much all i've seen is clone and go. The question was posed in reference to yield, which I would more than happily debate.I top the clones that are going outdoors in the spring to keep down height in the bush. I don't want them towering over the other vegatation, and find that I get more but smaller colas. WTF so their only 10 in. long instead of 18,I still get more buds, and I want to get my crop off,not donate it to police and thieves, so I will continue to top. However I don't even think about topping the indoor clones,in fact sometimes I will remove side branches if too bushy,so growth will be in main colas. I hope this helps.
