High, this is my first indoor stealth grow ,not new to growing but new to this stealth " microgrow* stuff ide love somr opinions , ideas , or input

Im using a 27 g 25 3/4 x 18 3/8 x 19 3/8
Container primered white then some reflective mettalic

4 1600 lumens 5000 K 23 watt bulbs 2 1300 lumens 5000 k 19 watt bulbd

And a small desk fan

I tried to keep it as simple as possible ill post more of a finished product later

I have a few auestions though
With the amount of lighting and the height of the container could i just mount the fixture to the lid and be ok? Or would i just need to find a way to keep the ligbts to the plants as they grow . And im not sure what i should switch to for flowering with this setup a mixture or just 2700 k bulbs ?

Ide also love some ideas for a good short ,bushy strain that grows quickly

Thanks alot

Back of tub

Top (without lid)

Inside (kinda crappy picture sorry) (plant that was dying outside trying to revive it )

Opinions , comments ?

I would mount it to the lid, and shim the plant up to keep it as close as possible to the lights, and as it grows reduce the shims under it.

For flower I'd go for 4 @ 2700k and 2 @ 3500k

If you fix it to the lid you can raise your plants to the light or even better make the lights height adjustable:).... I personnally have used 5000k the entire grow, thru veg and flowering.Imo......it is definatly better to use a mixed spectrum..........ex.3-5000k,6400k and 1 2700k,3000k for veg....or 3-2700k,3000k and 1-5000kor 6400k for flowering.Autoflowers are short but you can train(lst, top, supercrop) any strain you want to just about any height you want.GL.

Thanks alot i hadnt thought about bringing the plants to the lights great idea :D i really.dont want to go spend more money on bulbs atleast until flowering , how much of difference is it going to make vegging umdrr all 5000k vs mixed spectrum i forgot to memtion i also have a small 50 watt R20 agro light thay attatches to the bpttom i just planned on using for thr seedling stage for root growth , i wasmt planning on leavimg it on any further than that because of how much heat it puts off , do you think i should just leave it on though or maybe switch it too a 2700 k

You'll be fine with all 5000k bulbs BUT throw that 50w R20 pos in the trash:lol:.....DO NOT use it to warm your roots if that's what your saying. Those bulbs are of no use to mj growers!

In trash ,lol thanks well that leaves me woth an open socket . Recomendations for a single bulb to round it off , need to stay as short as possible tho

Updat on original post
The lighting attachment looks fine, but the plant isn't what I expected

Don't know what happened, but you need to tie that empty stem down to the rim of the pot. You don't have the rm to deal with that empty space.

Yeah im tying it down tommorow it was just one from outdoors that the bugs got to just a little trial to see where i was at and what i needed , ill be building some sort of shallow pan that i can lower or raise on some sort of pullies to put two plants in . And painting black for stealth :)
How.much soil do i really need in this small setup? Would i be ok with a tray maybe 4 in deep and the size of the container ?
