simple yes or no nutrient question

i cant find any liquid nutrients at lowes so i was wondering if i would put organic blood meal or bone meal into the water if it would dissolve and work the same way

not really. Maybe after a while it would, but typically a 'tea' is made with the organic matter, and used on the plants.

NO NO NO!!! Never heard of that but if it's not for hydroponics than it won't work. Soil contains micro nutrients essential to plant growth that water alone doesn't. Soil fertilizers typically only contain the three macro nutrients; Nitrogen (which weed loves), phosphorus and potassium (known together as N-P-K). Plants may be able to survive for a while without micro nutrients but probably not long enough to finish flowering. I recommend ordering some Flora series hydroponic nutrients, I'm using them and they work pretty darn good.

P.S. hydros are lot pricer but using soil fertilizers just WON"T WORK IN A HYDRO SET-UP
