Sooo ran into a dielema, I'm my flower room I have 18 plants atm in a two week perpetual rotation. Currently I have a 600w and 1000w on rails five feet apart and running a total length of 12 feet, would it be more benificial to run the 1000w at the begning of the flower room the 600w as the finisher or visa versa thanks

personally i would start with the 1000 at the beggining and use the 600 to finish. ive no doubt others will give u other answers but i'll explain my reasoning, the beggining of the flowering would be mid /high summer when the light from the sun is strongest and the 600 would be heading into autumn(or fall for all you yanks; i still think that autumn is a nicer word). well thats my logic.

But they put out the same spectrum, so the only difference is that the plant will receive less usable light with the 600 as the finisher, and during bud production you obviously want maximum light.

Not saying he is wrong by any means, just my 2 cents.

" - - - - heading into autumn(or fall for all you yanks; i still think that autumn is a nicer word)."

As a yank from many generations of yanks (my family "migrated" from England in 1640!) I have to agree with you on this one! After all, Autumn marks the Autumnal Equinox.

But give us poor heathens a break, The reason we call it "Fall" is because the colder weather comes along and makes the leaves "fall" from the trees. Don't you have a speck of romance left in your heart? That's when it's time to get naked and huddle up with your honey!
