SIMPSONSAMPSONs soon-to-be-but-not-quite-there-but-will-be-soon 4000w journal

wuts the official date ss...fuck im seein new white hairs still..probably 50% red..but the tops seem to be filling in with more and more bud daily..on at least half my plants..i wuz thinking sunday or monday..but im know they could use another week..dont know thatll make that much diff tho..
 
depending on the denseness tho..could be a half..could be a zip..ive seen some pounds of bud that looked like 2 cause it wuz fluffier... ur shit looks dense..id say those top colas are close to a zip..if ur counting the entire maristem.. guess we will find out soon......................id say pass it on to the attic....have u decided ur opion on portables SSS> wuz thinkiing a 10,000 or 12,000..and duct exhaust to attic...still use real fresh air intake and use exhaust..not sealed..just suplemental for hot summer temps..wuttcha think ..
also wanted ur opion on my intake system im building

thats what i am saying bro.. its hard to tell.. where all the new vertical bud growth is are mostly white hairs.. im not really seeing anymore new ones as growth has tappered off for the most part... but some are really just white.. i think i will be able to pull down about 3/4 of them monday and the rest sometime that week.. as long as whatever i dont have chopped down can fit under 1 light ill be fine.. but i need to free up the lights for the clones and sprout i have going.. and quick... today is day 57.. monday will be day 60.. and thats the target date... i think that if i cut down monday the buds might finish maturing over the first couple days of cut down.. since they still have a little bit of spunk left in them even after cut down... but im sayin monday it is...

the buds are definatly dense as shit.. maybe a few fluffy buds towards the bottom of the girls.. but 95% of the buds are rock hard... if i hit the weights you are thinking on the buds i should hit closer to 3 lbs total... that would absolutely be the shit.. wow... i would prolly cry a little.. maybe a tear of joy or two.. lol

i think thats what ill do with my exhaust and everything.. just run it to the attic.. light and the canfan both... that way all the heat of the room is being pulled out.. the canfan has enough cfm to change the air in the entire grow room every 2 minutes.. so that should be plenty to keep temps straight..

portable a/cs are great as long as you can exhaust them... and not a bad idea at all for you to have one... just run the a/c exhaust into another exhaust line so you dont have to worry about the heat... and you can add whatever additional length of duct you want to to the a/c to move it whereever you want.. i might end up getting one.. but it seems that the room is insulated enough that the outside will only affect it by a few degrees if that ...

so my dude stopped by tonight and we talked about things.. we both agreed fuck it and i cutting them all down sunday.. well half sunday and half monday prolly.. i would like to get them all done sunday but i dont know how well that will go.. so by sunday/monday are trim days.. and hopefully by tuesday/wednesday ill have the hydro system up and going...

we were gonna wait but we both need some cash right now.. plus we want to get things moving.. so a little pre mature or not they are coming down... at least on this next harvest we can let them go all the way to maturity.. the need to "rush" wont be there...
 
ive also decided against the 24 hours straight dark before harvest.. not because i dont want to... more so because i had to water all the girls with in the last 24 hours... so they are all wet.. so i want them to use all the water and left over nutes up.. i HIGHLY doubt there is anything left in the soil anymore anyways... so itll be 1 to 2 more days of light for the girls depending on how quick i can get the trimming done..

i will take pics of the pots before and after.. and individual pics of the girls after i trim and cut them so you can see them all seperated out....
 
Sampson, how does an indoor grower get 60+ lbs a harvest? From reading the journals on here, it seems like people are lucky to get 2 or 3 lbs

are you asking how to set up a grow to get that?? of just askin as a hypothetical??? getting 60+lbs a harvest isnt hard as long as you have the space to do it and the money to pay for equipment and a power supply to run everything..... if you have those 3 things, and the knowledge to grow, you can grow as much as you want easily.. well it will take work.. but it can easily be done.. know what i mean??

i bet, given the right strain, and the proper pruning techniques, you could do it with way less than 60x1000w hps lights.. more like 30ish.... and between 40 - 70 plants.. i know thats a big range of plants.. but it would depend on the strain... i am projecting that i will pull on average 10lbs every 60 days in a 7x9 space once i get things going.. and thats off of 12 plants....

oh no.. you could do it in a 4 bedroom house.... i mean... a warehouse would be great.. but with a warehouse it would be easy to pull 100+lbs a harvest.... hell you could have a 30 day cycle and pull 50+ pounds every 30 days...

LOL yea Im sure you can do it with less but that would guarantee you 60lbs+ and probably a shorter turn around time but I guess turn around time doesnt matter when you bang out 60lbs what is that about a 1/4 million $

yeah.. if you are banging out that kinda weight turn around time isnt quite so important.. LOL well sorta.. cause that is a LOT of shit to cooridinate together.. but hell you would only need 1 crop a year to be set.... its about 4000 grand a pount out here... so 4000x60 = 240,000... yea... about a quarter mill... that would be the coolest thing to see and also the scariest.. id be shitting myself worried about getting busted... wow... i couldnt imagine...

thats the goal... 10+ off 4000w's... actually it will be more than this.. i am going to get some super lemon haze seeds... greenhouse claims 700 grams indoor and 1200 grams outdoor.. since my lighting will be closer to outdoor lighting i figure i should get more than 700 grams a plant.. but even if i only get 3/4 of the yield greenhouse claims, thats still about a pound a plant.. and i will have 12 of them.. so should be about 12 lbs.. but that is being optimistic... so i am planning on more like 8 to 10 lbs of those.. but yes.. i am saying i plan on pulling a pound per plant... and it is possible.. BUT.. i also plan on having some autoflowers going in my veg room since i know i will have some open space i can utilize, plus i am going to run a bunch of clones straight into 12/12...

-so i plan on 12 large plants that i should pull 10ish pounds off for commericial
-maybe 8 to 12 autoflowers for personals.. so about a half to 3/4 lb there...
- and maybe 20 or so straight to 12/12 clones.. so maybe another 3/4 pound there too
