Simulated cloud cover / automated light raising guage

What if I rigged up a pair of rollers to roll a screen with random sections of holes and dense spots (think tank treads) to roll about N inches under a light hood during the light cycle, to simulate cloud cover via the screen? What if the screen also had some sort of metal threading in it that read electromagnetic or whatever interference created by the plants touching the screen and raised the light by 1" on that trigger?

reduced light = less energy for growth
something touching the plants has opportunity to damage them.

Why complicate a simple grow?

uea then you would have to have random raining and thunderstorms... Don;t overthink this chit man.... Spark a bowl and be happy, its what gawd wants
