Pluck the nanner out asap and personally i judge on how bad the problem is, you've only spotted one so i wouldn't freak too much, grab some dutch master reverse or some budwise female hormone spray if you feel that way inclined

no worries man. plants hermie all the time. like everyone else said - just pinch it off and scour your plant for any more. you might want to ask yourself if your plant has been subjected to any unusual stress, but one banana is nothing to worry about.

thanks guys, plucking it was my first inclination but I wasn't sure if two would grow back or something. The only stress I can think of was spraying it with actinovate (a fungicide) which seemed to be the reason all the pisitls burnt. If a few more pop up, i'll hit it with the spray.
