I've heard of many different ways of flushing harvesting, but I've never heard of letting it dry out towards the day of harvest... Just cut out and water with plain water, I think you're using molasses, you can go ahead and continue using it...
I cut down before the lights come on, so most of the water is in the soil, not the plant, but a friend cuts down mid day, so all the water is in the plant... His reason is all the sugars go out of the plant at night, and he wants to keep them in there for drying. My reason is I'd rather not have anything built up in the plant.
At harvest, cut them at the base, trim off all the larger leaves, and hang them to dry with plenty of air movement, after a week or less, when they're partially crispy on the outside trim them completely and jar them up to start the sweating process.
Remove the buds for a couple hours a day, until they're crispy again, and jar them back up, continue doing this until they don't get moist after being in the jar for 12 hours... Then burp the jars periodically, check for moisture and a few weeks later they're perfectly cured. You can smoke them once they're dry, but waiting a couple weeks really brings out the flavor, since the sugars ferment and convert.
I'd water just as much as you have been, but without nutes. And harvest on the 12th.
