Single for life!

So with national singles awareness day (valentines), I was forced to examine my relationship status. My entire life I've never been in love, and I'm approaching 30 years.

Physical relations seem to be the main reason people pair up. In reality, with the Internet, we can handle those physical needs alone. With growing, a single life seems like the safest way.

As a guy that wasn't shy back in the day, I've been in and out of so many relationships, I just don't have the energy to try anymore.

There is nothing on this planet that can compare to the strength of a womans love.

When treated right a woman will gladly do almost anything for you, support you, keep you off the ground when you've hit rock bottom, cook for you, clean for you, and love you beyond measure.

I'm sorry your single man. Find the right girl, treat her well, and she'll keep all your secrets between you and her.

Bullshit, did that too many times too. Give her everything you have til you have nothing, and she moves on to the next guy as soon as you're about to be homeless instead of helping you out like she is suppose to.
Or you give everything and get nothing and then you're the bad guy when you end the relationship.
The woman you speak of is literally 1 in a million and even then most of them end up stuck in abusive relationship that rip that greatness from them for good.

If the chick is sticking around, it's either because you have something she wants or doesn't think she can get "better".
If you have nothing, and she thinks she can get better, she's gone 100% of the time.

Otherwise you'd see models date homeless guys just for their personality.

Women love cats, cats bring them gifts. That means to earn a womans love you should keep leaving dead animals on her doorstep.

I have given thought to relationships,many times over the years.I am lucky-been with the same woman now for close to 40 yrs.She stayed home and I wandered where ever my work took me-being gone for,at one time 5 years.I havent traveled now in about 6 or 7-(semi retired)I can say with all honesty that I cant imagine being with anyone else and I am always amazed when I think about all our freinds and their relationships going down the toilet.The single biggest thing to keep or get into a relationship is common interests and absolute trust.But,I also admit that if I were single today(and younger) I would stay single and I would not have children.Just my thoughts.

OK I can't help myself. Take my wife please. I've been in love with the same woman for 4 years if my wife finds out I'm in trouble. My wife and I have had 5 wonderful yeas together but we've been married for 20. OK I'll stop.

Madmonk I agree with you 100% I too have been with my wife going on 36 yrs this august and I cant imagine being with anyone else.......yes we have had our problems but have always managed to wrok thru them. I know everyone has heard that statment that you just havent met the right one yet. I Do not know how to respond to that because I was lucky blessed or what ever you want to call it right out of the box she was my first and last. There were alot of times that I thought about what I missed out on but that quickly faded when I really thought about what we had I wouldnt risk that for anything......... THERE IS NOTHING THAT CAN COMPARE TO THE LOVE OF A GOOD WOMAN .....not everyone is meant to be married and to them I'm sure that their thinking is there is nothing that can compare to the love of many woman you gotta do what makes you happy....... I DID!

Attitude comes from life's conditioning. Not everyone is lucky and can be perfect like you guys.

No one here even approaches perfection.
It is entirely possible that those here in good relationships worked their asses off to make them that way.
It is also very possible that a healthy dose of luck was involved and the "One" came along at just right time.

I thank the Lord daily when I look at my beautiful wife - and never miss a chance to tell her and show her that she is loved and appreciated.
