I think you mean, they BOTH worked hard to make it work. Which in my case, I felt like I was the one working my ass off alone. So what is the point of having someone if they don't help you? And yes, they are lucky to have someone to trust and lean on.
But That means I have a bad attitude? Because I've never met someone like that.
That's what I'm pointing out.
For instance, I can't count on two hands how many women stopped talking to me simply because I haven't been to university or don't want to travel outside my country.

If that means I'm not boyfriend material or have a bad attitude, then I must be pretty dumb for not seeing it OR those women just want everything given to them.

Not to mention, most of these women dropped out of university themselves and never spent a dime of their own money to travel either.
I'm just saying, women like that are so common but then the humble, cute, and genuinely caring ones are few and far between.
If you guys just want a chick that puts out, stays at home, and is as dumb as a door nail, good for you, but I believe I deserve better. (not saying anyone's wife is any of these things)
When I find her, I'll MAKE the energy to give her everything if I have to. BUT until then, every dumb chick that crosses my path can go ahead and hate my "bad attitude" all they want.
Because no matter how pretty they are, or how much fun they can be, someone somewhere got tired of their shit.
No hair off my back.

Edit: Not to mention finally being able to grow my beard out without complaints.
