Single leaf growth...

I have four plants that have been topped. All new growth has been really healthy but they are growing in single leaves. Once again very healthy and thriving. Is this weird? The plant we cloned is budding and thriving as well. And no difference is growth. The strand is named God's Gift. Any help will be appriciated.... Thanks

At the tippy top like 1st node
first node is at the bottom of the plant.

It's not unusual for the plant to have single leaf growth from an area that was cut. It's just the plant restarting it's growing cycle in that area. In time it'll start producing normal leafs again.

I am growing GOD bud and find A LOT of deformed and single leaves. I grew from seeds and sexed and cloned and now growing from female clones. If you didn't know you would think I have two strains. Some look like noram weed and other just plain werid. Loooong steams with one leaf. Tangled leaf steams everywhere. They are a mess but i am leaving alone. They produce a ton of bud even if they do grow weird. Any comments?

Topping means taking off the whole top of the plant-- anywhere from 2-6 nodes... that's what he was asking... How many nodes did you remove...and how old is the plant?

Otherwise, you "FIM'd it- by taking off just the growth tip at the top of the plant- and that causes new growth to act like a clone and be un-serated or single-bladed until it heals-- then it SHOULD (but doesn't always) branch from that spot as it gets older....
