Well, this is a spillover topic from this thread.
Here is my setup. Just one female, 30 inches high, a single 250W MH with the Agrosun Gold Metal Halide. However, I have the option to switch to a 430 Watt HPS setup as well.
I guess the question is, will it significantly impact my yield since this is only a single plant? And, the Gold bulbs have a very well balanced spectrum.
I guess depending on the answer I'll switch things out tonight if I have to.
Pictures:
12 gallon reservoir bubbleponic DWC system. The two fans on the bottom are Coolworks 50 Watt Ice Probe Nano Chillers that keep the reservoir cooler to keep oxygen levels up. I don't think I need them anymore, but I did at one time when temperatures went out of control.
Inside is a single female of unknown strain that is currently growing at about .5-1 inch per day.
30 inches or so high at day 15 since flowers started forming with 12/12. It's being hit by the 250 Watt Gold MH.
So, I guess the question is: Do I go HPS for yield or stick with the MH for quality?
