Single Seed Centre scam?

Recently came across 2 regular romulan seeds on Single Seed Centre for $11 & change each, they were both non-viable.

I contacted Jay the breeder from Next Generation who told me he hasn't had Romulan seeds for over 5 years and they likely sold me some old seeds.

I have contacted Single Seed Centre and I'm waiting to see if they make it right, will update.

..it's a tiny order but now I'm pissed off about it!

Edited to add that Romulan Jay from Next Generation seeds immediately replied to my email and offered to make it right at no cost, even though he had nothing to do with it. I'll be buying my next batch of seeds from him

Wasn't a scam. I contacted Single Seed Centre and they told me choose anything else I want even if it's more money they couldn't have been nicer!

Awesome customer, service already made another order from them:hump:

Yes from a legal State yeah the dude on the email was awesome apologizing all over the place, said order anything even if it's more still waiting but yeah I think they went out of their way

I'll still never find out where those two Romulan seeds came from all of a sudden after they've been out of stock everywhere for five years? I guess I'll never know but I really wish they cracked

Before I realized they were now affiliated with bonza seeds I made a small order with bitcoin. Connoisseur genetics GDP S1's......... (weird they were in stock) lol I did get some seeds in the mail, but I marked them unknowns and have zero expectations that they are real. Also odd on their storefront they now offer fems of some of the most popular clone only strains out there.

.. you mentioned Bonza (didn't know the two were associated?), I found them ok 3 years ago when I started up, had free shipping, good giveaways and all that, and were pretty good for about a year after that, but now I don't deal with them anymore

I never had a problem with them as my go to along with choice/attitude, until I found greenpointseeds ...I've arrived.

Yes Monday I received an order in about a week or less from Greenpoint some Gunslinger, Skywalker × Stardawg starting some very soon

My whole bitch about this thread was where the hell did those 2 Romulan seeds come from???

I've been looking for the Rom for the whole 3 years I've been back growing and they haven't been anywhere!?

I just found out recently on riu that the strain was lost 5 yrs. ago, but all of a sudden 2 popped up on their menu !?!

.. I sure wish they had cracked !!! :cuss:

Still haven't gotten the promised replacements, but its not even been two weeks yet, so still waiting

Single seed centre is the only online bank I have ordered from. I got a pineapple express auto from barneys farm that didn't sprout just the other day I messaged them and they are sending me a replacement seed. I've never had any problems ordering new strains for friends before I started growing and since I started growing that's where I get all my seeds also. Legit company for sure. Love the single seed option so you don't have to buy 3 or 5 or 7 or 10 or 12. I like you can just buy 1 seed at a time, I like there customer service. I like the huge strain selection from seed banks from all over the world. Great place to order seeds! I live in the united states and do not work for them in any way. This is a real legit review from a happy customer. :)

I search the site daily hopeing to find Gems like next generations romulan, nice find... I had one package of beans from single seed centre get nabbed by customs.. i waited the time it stated and tried to call the phone number, it was not a working number.. I emailed them and they resent it free of charge... You just gotta wait the time and hope they still have the beans you selected.. i really dont like the signing for the package part, although they never ID me lol.. Happy you got your package!!

Nah they made good above on that weird shit but I don't use them anymore. I recently got 10 seeds from SSC and only 3 cracked!:cuss:

Then I got the obligatory "sorry to hear that but we can't talk about it, will send you some freebies with your next order" crap, and they're always send Autos which doesn't help me,

four of the seeds were tiny and white from Ripper seeds, screw ripper too, too many breeders out there plus I'm already making my own seeds on this run right now forget about it

Yeah I don't use them eithier.. to much sketchy behavior.. they also sell knock off of ever popular kind and there are no reviews for these seeds.. I ordered some connoisseur genetics: Grand doggy purple, and Grand Daughters Purple s1.. I have ran about 50 different connoisseur GDP and GDogP, from seedbay, and the ones from SSC DONT resemble them in anyway.. I question if they are legit... I HATE autos, they are worthless!!!

Apparently Romulan Joe had a fire you can search it it's apparently pretty well-known, anyway I just got 10 seeds from them and only 3 cracked, I'm not using Single Seed Centre anymore
