Thanks MAD. ya its lookin real nice and dark green with fat leaves. can anybody tell me what phenotype this would be?.. Im hoping to be able to veg for 1 month, and have 4 to 6 nice big bushes to flower under a 1000 watt xxxl hood.

I think the Mint is supposed to be long and thinner leaves with a purple tinge, and the BP pheno is the wider broader greener leaves. Just about to throw down 5 sinmint fems and 5 dna la fems..

the "mint" lol. you refer to is actually forum cut GSC which was bagseed from thinmint cookies, which also still has some pretty good sized leaves. it is an 80 percent indica strain. the GSC leaning pheno you refer to however will have darker leaves almost a black somewhat but not as much so as forum cut.

If one us looking for seed form of an elite cut, this always disappoints. Rather just allow the plants individuality to convince you if its unique benefits, flavours and high. Being bred off an elite clone will guarantee dankness even if not similar to the original cut. You will enjoy it more if you don't go into it expecting anything in particular in my arrogant opinion...

well this isnt from clone bro.... GSC forum CUT is in fact just bag seed from the clone only thin mint. to technically dadadada NONE of these cookie seeds anywhere are the TRUE " originial thinmint gsc" . just wanna give people cannahistory here. because theres alot of bs going around on the strain , and the story. it is elite. but u can pretty much say cookie genetics are fucked. this and OGKB cookies arent even close to animal. thin mint. or forum cut if u ask me. all fire though. Im just waiting till my next cali trip, or OGKB for anymore cookie hunting. ive got 2 more sinmints going. breeders were just wayyy too hyped to release cookies. heard alot about SCS not drying the seeds before he packaged em and such. like i always say . to give benefit of the doubt my tangerine power is beast....just CaMG whore and shes fem so I hope no hermies. needeless to say I probably wont be inclined to buy SCS again. theyre just ok if you ask me. perhaps my opinion will change soon if I can get a female sinmint.

I'm not a fan of the whole cookies hype but still I think most people on this forum knows the whole thin mint story. There is only one original, rest are progeny of the cut. What was it a cherry pie x durban or something like that. And being something related to Cannaventure I say you guys can have all the mint cookies. I could be mistaken on the cv connection.

Well I won't knock anything I haven't toked myself. I remember when reefer of high quality was hard to find. It used to take a whole blunt to get me to relax, all of this newschool herb is really potent. I don't really buy into hype or politics, with rare exception (I find subcools recent rants a tad distasteful hence not too amped to buy TGA), and I must say I can't find fault with SCS so far at all, great germ rare of hundred percent and what I got was super high female ratio and serious frost plus DANK smell. I am certain their cookies will be excellent too. I personally didn't know the story behind it other than it is supposed to have the mythical Durban in its lineage so personally I enjoyed the background story. Can't wait for smoke reports. The only flavours I dislike are pine (YUK) and anise, but I have use for every kind of high. And the LVBK is exactly as advertised gotta give SCS my thumbs up there, coffee and berries and kush smell just like it says on the pack. Let us not judge it till this very cool little grow is done.

buddy u do remember im on my 4th sinmint and the first 2 were male and hermie right? im not knocking SCS. just saying I havent found a female yet and the forum cut has the hermie gene in it admitted to me buy the head breeder at SCS himself. ive given every benefit of the doubt and also added my positive runnings with TP. I just dont want you thinking im trying to be negative if you are. I just havent got a female yet. the smoke should be good though. Though thin mint moreso and then animal and forum are good . any cookie cross has the potential fire inside. the health of their seeds, I do like. VERY good germ rates. thats why im saying... im not coming down on SCS . NO COMPANY YET has perfected their cookie cross. The fact that people are getting any pure females and not all hermies is something to me. Im excited to try more of their strains. basically im saying its the hermie gene manifesting its self in my first 2 . not a lack of breeding skills. however the mold in packs thing was from m4k himself so...he runs alot of competitors gear SCS being one. all love brother LVBK look good! but i dont know what to thin of the sub thing either.... i like his gear so ... damn :/ because i dont like that attitude. i wouldnt like tothink i helped a negative person pay their bills. idk the whole story just thinking.

Sorry Hamish, I certainly do not mean to offend when I say "bought the hype" behind the cookies. Just here in the States especially west coast, it is only og's and cookies on everyone's list, and I'm just hating on the cookies because I dislike mint flavored stuff, that and black licorice, no thanks. I never did like the shamrock milkshakes at McDonald's, either. Not sure if S. Africa McDonald's(or if McD's has invaded the african continent, I'm sure they have though) have the Shamrock shake, it's just a green mint flavored milkshake comes around St.Patrick's day.
My brother liked the cookies and is doing one of the west coast clone only mints, he is also the og fan.
And I did buy the hype many times before, off the top of my head, oh let's see, oh yeah cannaventures purpleberry. Boy did he ever get me on that one. LOL. I certainly think there will be some good plants to come out of the cookie ceeds out there. It is always cool to see variety of buds. Cheers.

I thought there was another strain in the mix with the cherry and durban, couldn't remember though. I thought cannaventure had the beans or cut of cherry pie or that florida cut that was then crossed with durban, but I'm not sure about that. Cheers. And I also heard good about the sinmints.
I'm running sin city's buddha's dream now and they're doing good. And I've heard from someone that ran the Buddha's d, was better than his blue dream cut. So like you said we'll see how they turn out.

You are contradicting yourself. Cherry Pie is F1 Durban x GDP, so if you think GSC has some Cherry Pie in it (it doesn't), then it would have GDP in it by ancestry. The truth is that GSC is F1 Durb x Florida OG. There's no Cherry Pie in GSC. Cherry Pie is more like a sister strain to GSC, not a parent.
