Hung my two bars last night and they are blinding! I'm running each of the two drivers at 121w at the wall not including fans, so approx 1050a. Total dissipation should be about 210w altogether or 42w sqft.

They'll get one more week of veg under the CXAs after seven weeks of veg from sprout under the Veros.
Just put the screen in as well.

Not a dark corner in this tent! :weed:

Distance from canopy is something you'll figure out on your own. Some guys want to pull them away, almost like a high intensity discharge light. Others move in with their lights. 6" to about a foot seems to be working out OK for me

Wouldn't surprise me if you find that you prefer X spacing during veg and Y spacing during flower.

Have you thought about shrouding the back side of the light bars? Or adding more fans? I'd be less concerned about consistent air movement across the entire sink if the fins were deeper.

Shrouding would be an easy mod - you could cut and bend four pieces of lightweight cardboard so that they covered the back of the sinks from the fan frames to the edges of the sink.

Flower day 37. Half way home!

@Skyrocket I know the space is more suitable for one plant but I'm on a flavor hunt. My highly complex nute arsenal is below.;-)

Heatsinkusa 4.9" profile at 20" which has deeper fins than the next size up @bizfactory

@Mellodrama the sinks are 4.5" away from tallest bud and 12" away from lowest bud.
They seem to be liking it although I am contemplating raising them up a link on the chain for a little more spread but don't want the buds further away to suffer.
I wonder if they would benefit from the shroud/hood since it's such a small space that's reflective.

If any of you guy use Jacks, is there any other additives you use for flower? I've read you could add other boosters but they're not needed or could be counterproductive.

I'm sorry, I didn't explain what I was going after. My suggestion on shrouding was to make sure that the cooling air generated by your fans is pushed along your fins instead of dissipating out into the open.

They're not needed. That blossom booster is plenty. If you want cheaper more potent blossom booster, you could get generic monopotassium phosphate, which is 0-52-34, and use very little.
