im not 100% on that shit yet lol,i been lookin at that 80/20 stuff one of you guys linked in a dif thread and its fuckin nice but damn is it pricey.im probably just going to use some angle aluminum from home depot or trackor supply.i think tomorrow im gunna stroll through the depot and see what all they have for angle and wire n do-dads.i have a rivet gun so using angle makes the most sense.but that 80/20 shit with all the dif fasteners and corner connectors would make the fixture look way more badass
The aluminum beams uses to frame buildings seem to me like a cheap way to frame bars. We used to just toss the scrapn in the dumpser. Stop by any commercial construction site and ask if you can dumpster dive, they usually don't mind if you don't look like some who's get hurt trying to climb in to pick through it all

All the stuff they use for commercial drywall framing is zinc coated steel. It actually looks a lot like stainless. No real need to dumpster dive its pretty cheap, my local drywall supplier sells the heavy duty angles for about $5 for 12 feet. I've got a lot of bars to make so I'm going to try one this way. It'd be nice to save $1000 on aluminum costs

Hah, that would explain why they look electroplated, because they are! Yeah man that's extremely inexpensive and I feel like it's a good alternative for a DIYer
