Hello guys,

I am facing some outgrowing problems in my 60x60x140 cm tent with a 250w hps.

I am growing 3 autos, one of them reaches 1m ... i took autos for being small ...

what did I do wrong please ? i gave them 24h of light for like 2 months then switched to 20/4 and i am now on 12/12 (almost month 3).

Gave them nutes for growing phase, but stopped when reached 50cm. now they started flowering but the size of them !!

Was it a mistake to give them 24h light a day assuming autos would switch to flowering at a small size ? growing nutes ? distance of the lamp ? :weed:

most likely distance of light but it could also have something to do with genitics. just because its an auto dose not mean its always going to be tiny. some of them are breed for height and more weight. and with autos you dont have to switch from 24 to 20 to 1212 you can have it on one setting and it will "automatically flower" hence autoflower. ive ran them both on 18/6 and 24 and have every one of my auto flower under that lighting time.

ill will definitely pay attention to the lights, for the genetics, they are Easy Ryder and Star Ryder. Not really tall plants genetically speaking. 20130330_091538.jpg

i cant really get the lamp higher and its really packed on the sideways as well ... but you can see on this pic that they stretched way too much

cheers, it makes sense the 250w needs to be real close to the plant ... definitely neglected that for a while !!

Would you advise 3-4 micro growed plants or one big Scrog in this tent ? is it possible to microgrow autoflowering plants ?

I don't know what site you saw that on , all the reviews ive seen are mentionning more like 60 cm !!

I am thinking of a Scrog in that tent with 1 plant in hydro or 2/3 in soil, what do you think would be more suitable ?
