Skipping the curing process

but really, thats not curing. plastic bags affect taste and because theyre not firm like glass jars its not the same as glass at all. coffee cans dont even work because theyre not solid enough and theyre metal. i get what your saying, there probably is a bit of an improvement in the smoke between grower and dealer due to more even drying in the bag. but any connoseur will tell you that thats not cured.

agreed, but ive also noticed that people want stickier buds, not knowing its just not properly dried and cured.

also when you are selling, the heavier the bud the better, so curing is just cutting out of your profit. ive gotten bags where i had to let it dry a few more days before i even bothered smoking, sucks cuz you lose the water weight.

your right about the stickier thing and the weight, both signs of a shady grower/dealer IMO. now letting it go when its just a hair moister than it ought to be is cool, just because like yousaid, it will dry some before it hits the pipe.

until i started growing, i always thought the fresher the better.... to be honest the drying and curing thing still kinda throws me...

i kinda agree, if you grow. but when your paying by weight and a good portion of that weight is water thats bullshit.

i have known "dishonest" drug dealers (ironic) that would add 1 shot glass of water to a pound of beast. if i am not mistaken, it would increase weight by over half ounce
