Lights: 400w HPS.
Medium: FF Ocean forest mixed with perlite
Fert: General Hydroponics 3 part.
Genetics: B-52, PPP, and Skunk #1

Its been about 40 days since i switched to 12/12 and the B-52 and PPP are progessing very nicely with tight crystally buds. However the Skunk #1 is only showing a single harry tear drop per node and continues to stretch. Its about twice as tall as the B-52's and 50% taller than the PPP. Otherwise the plants look perfectly healthy.

Anybody know what might be going on here? What can i do to force them to flower? If they don't start flowering soon I'm gonna run out of height in my grow room.

what type of nutes you using??? I started veg with 10-15-10.. then I up'd it to 10-54-10... she may need more phosphorus to make it happen...

I am inclined to believe its to do with genetics, since both of my Skunk #1's are in the same condition, but at 40 days and still no buds!? Ive been using General Hydro ponics 3 part per the instructions on the bottle. 1 part grow, 2 parts micro, 3 parts bloom, adding up to 1000 ppm whenever my runoff falls below 500 ppm. the other plants seem to like it but the skunk is being stubborn. What about switching to a 11/13 light cycle? anybody know if that would help?

skunk 1 can get picky about the nutes try backing off her a lil also the sativa in her will take forever man i have had one take like 4 months to get close to call it good

How mature was she when you started 12/12? Sativas can take quite a while to flower if they want to. I wouldn't change the light cycle. You could train her or top her as a last resort, but if you have limited space you're gonna have to flower small clones or go 12/12 from seed with skunk.

she was about 14" when i started 12/12, up to 31" now. I topped it about 2 weeks in flowering, and have been training for the last 2 weeks to try and keep the height under control. Ive only got about another 10" to play with unless i do something drastic to my setup. I suppose i could just take a couple clones and kill the momma, can you root a clone in 12/12?

I would cut a few clones off the top. keep one for a mother. root one or two and veg them for later or something. keep her going. there's still a fair amount of plant to play with there.
