skywalker og from seed

hey redeye those pics are at day #21 since the flip there is a night & day difference between these & their moms too early to predict when theyre gonna finish but im thinking 70+ days i have 2 plants of each pheno im gonna do a little experemint 1/2 of them are gonna be fed advance nutrients big-bud & 1/2 are gonna get my regular nutes & at harvest im gonna compare quality,yield,etc. might as well make it a little interesting as well as see if ive been wasting my money or not

ive got a lot of thumb size cotton balls its gonna be interesting to see how this plays out im gonna stick to feeding twice a week as im not seeing any signs of nute burn & they dont appear to be starving either

theyre loading up pretty good for this early in the game today is feed day & im gonna start adding advance nutrients big bud for the next few weeks to 3 of the plants to see if they turn out better than the other 3 that get the strait gh 3-part & gh addatives im just starting to see what i should of seen in the other grow had they developed on time that whole experience kind of turned me off to the skywalker strain even though whatever caused things to go south was more than likely caused by me somehow because the clones are programing right on schedule i could of vegged another week as theyre staying kind of short

i got my feeding done & its official the experiment has began 3 plants got big-bud & 3 plants didnt did a final bit of supercropping tonight as well big bud seems to be designed to do the same thing liquid koolbloom does & the ingredients seem to be derived from similar stuff i guess we will see come harvest time ive been putting off starting the gagegreen pepe le dank as im starting to like what im seeing in the skywalker this early in the grow

not a lot of change just waiting for them to plump up this weekend i think im gonna start germinating the pepe le dank seeds

did a little leaf thinning today & im starting to learn a little about this strain after getting off to a bad start im actualy starting to see some potential here this strain loves to be trained , supercropped & tied a prime candidate for scrog this stuff is really trying to program & cries out to be done in hydro im getting over some of the negativity generated by having to scrap my first grow of this & my girls are really trying to make this right as my canopy is loading up with buds pending the finished product i almost like this strain im getting good light penetration even the bottom stuff should develop it doesnt look ilik there is gonna be big buds but rather a gang of thumb sized nugs

its a lazy saturday morning & im gonna feed today so far no real difference in the 3 plants fed the big bud but its early yet my buds are starting to give off a whiff of pine although faint its there & the buds are fattening up a bit im starting to get a lot of enjoyment out of this grow as things are filling in gotta go to the hydro shop this morning & get some flora blend [some sort of tea] im really fond of the gh 3-part flora series nutes & addatives used in the keep it simple schedule its relatively cheap & gets results im not getting near the stretch i got last time theyre averaging about 32'' tall i probably could of vegged a week under the 600 & improved my overall yield a bit but i really wanted to see if this stuff was gonna bud or not after the first round not budding after 50 or so days of 12/12 i was really taking a chance fortunatly its paying off im gonna start germinating pepe le dank today

everything points to these having smaller rock hard dense nugs found some spidermites today so i sprayed before they get out of hand they always seem to come with the hot weather & once established are a real bitch to get rid of i should start getting frost any day now

How do they smell

not much smell at this point today is day#28 of 12/12 if you look at the pics youll notice some brown hairs thats caused by the spidermite spray i use its got some sort of organic oil in it that causes the hairs to brown i'm guessing this to be at least a 70 day strain i notice a little frost creepin up on them im really hoping this stuff is gonna reek i never made it to the hydro store i spent the day getting my boat ready for the fall/winter fishing season 9 of 11 of my gage green pepe le dank seeds have the little white tap root after spending the night in a wet paper towell in a plastic box sitting on top of my cable tv monitor as soon as i get little plants started im gonna start a grow journal for the pepe le dank

i fed yesterday & added floranectar instead of molassis the plants seem to like the 2 feedings a week i also added the big bud to the 3 plants so far im not seeing any difference in the plants treated with it maybe an indicator that there is no magical shortcut to getting bigger,more & better buds but im still gonna see this through to the end im getting to the enjoyable part of a grow as i can see the canopy filling in with buds no real superstars but a respectabl showing all the same

buds are getting more dense & im thinking theyre gonna weigh heavy for their size im still not getting much smell yet i have some ov these skywalkers at a friends house i think ill clone them this weekend

i regret not vegging a week or 2 under the hps as i realize a lot bigger yield could be had as my first grow was huge compared to these plants the large stalk is from the first grow as you can see it is considerable larger i was in a hurry to see if this grow was gonna start budding i didnt veg long enough

well theyve taken things to a whole new level i came in from work today & as usual opened my room to check things out i got a whiff of pine/lemon/fuel & possibly a hint of mint & upon rubbing my buds discovered theyre getting sticky & pheno #4 is different its stickier & buds are more round on top & not maturing quite as fast as the others but is looking like it might get larger & danker than the rest this is definatly the deal-breaker as overnight this shit has turned dank & definatly all phenos are advancing into my next grow its that good showing signs of producing the kind of bud i ordered it for in the first place this has all the indications that top shelf quality just might happen im gonna clone the babies i sent to a friend to veg funny how much can change overnight here is pics of #4 i kind of regret starting the pepe le dank now as this is definatly advancing to the next round like the old saying a bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush.... true indeed

Love it, what is causing those spots? Old or new? I do not recall seeing them before.
