I think i must have interpreted foliar feeding wrong. All i do is put the sea weed extract in a spray bottle with phd water and spray it on. forgive me for sounding like a complete idiot. i've never used a wetting agent that i know of
tbh, you can, but it to be the right dish detergent to use. i forget atm, but not all dish detergent are recommend. if anything just go to the local hydro store and by a $8 bottle from them.
and no need to thank me, that's what this community is here for.
that plant that i flushed this morning i havn't seen any improvement should i give it another light flush tomorrow. does it take the plant a long time to recover from something like this
don't worry about how it looks now, if anything pay more attention to the newer growth, because the leaves that's affected now is going to change from this point on.
They actually look good dude, I wouldnt fuss over them too much. Just water them as they need it and be patient. Id skip the foliar feeding, they are developing roots and pulling what they need out of the soil. It might be tempting to wanna help them along, but if your not experienced with foliar you could over do it and end up with powdery mildew or burn them.
yeah remember that any corrective measures will take at least a few days to show results with soil, and new growth is where's you're going to be seeing it. two of them look just fine dude, and the claw one will likely get better. i honestly think it might've just been the foliar feeding, maybe just eliminate the kelp/seaweed and just go with a little dH2O mist once a day or every couple days. for just starting out growing i think you're doing fine.
how often are you watering them? are you using the lift test to determine when they're dry? (once you learn the weight of your dry pot it can be a lot more accurate than watering on a time interval). if the root zone is kept too moist for a long period of time you can get pH & other issues a lot easier.
hi, new growth actually looks good. phew what a relief. lol i was watering them two to three times a week and i wasn't doing the lift test but i will be sure to do that from now on. Thanks everybody for the advice. If i have another problem you will be the first ones to know. I will also update with the positive progress.
