hahaha genfranco. no kidding man. They are sure heavy this year. I put up 6 jars of Heartbreaker last night and still have half of a 60 qt cooler to go, prolly another 6 jars.

We had a little storm blow through last night. Just a quarter inch of rain and a little wind. Mostly everything was alright but a couple of branches were down. I went ahead and trimmed them up. Oh yeah and a few more shrooms.

Thanks c, ya know it's hard to say. I've already got about 15 jars curing now and I haven't even harvested yet. lol
Yep, well that's half of it. That one half kinda got mother nature's LST during the great flood. The second picture is the other half of it <it was too big to get into one pic> ha

Just one big late flowering sativa, and to think I almost chopped it down afraid it was gonna be a male. oops lol

DAMN!! Why didn't you getting all this rain in July?? We've been getting a few showers here and there but not much. If we did it would flood everywhere!! Much more than 3 in of rain and most of the rivers are overflowing. Thanks what we get for living in a swamp..

I hope it dries out for you!!!

At least with all this rain around here you are getting a good supply of shrooms while you are out. I didn't know they were so prevalent down here.

That's about what we got yesterday. That sure woulda saved a lot of work around July for sure. I guess I'm getting a pretty good flush on them. We're forecast for more heavy rain tonight and the next few days.

All I can say is don't give up man. Grow bigger next year cause you can only expect half or less to make it. Half of the girls that is. :leaf:

Alright then, today I've got a tray of buds that I didn't think were up to jaring. They get ya high plenty enough but they just aren't dense and thick enough for bag appeal. Ya know what I mean?

Well, so I thought I'd try out my new Bubble Bags on this trim and bud lights.

So I'll strip these buds off the stems freeze everything in the deep freezer while I go get ice and my auger & drill. When I return, I'll mix the ice and frozen buds together in the slurry cooler for a whole lotta bumpin' & a grindin'. :peace:

Strain your water through the bags a couple times. I usually get just as much on the second strain as I did on the first and still get some on the 3rd.

im sure you mean to use the same "weed/trimming" for a 2nd spin right... not just pull the bags up and then pour the same water through it. right? it just sound funny how you typed it.

Well yes and no I do run my trim twice but I found that with some bags that the screen can actually let stuff through that will be caught the next time you pour it through. I use to own the real bubble bags and used them for years and didn't do this but I got some knockoff ones recently to replace and found that if I put the water though the last bag twice I would get a ton of hash that wasn't caught the first time. Since I didn't try this with the name brand bubble bags I can't really say if it would have done the same thing but what I can say is that the run off of the water is quicker than it was with my original bubble bags. I think the reason being is that real bubble bags have a heat pressed screen that seals the screen in place. Where as some of the cheaper ones don't and threads can get tighter in some spots and looser in others allowing the water and some hash to fall though the looser spots. Anyways it can't hurt to try it and you might be surprised at what you get. bongsmilie

Yeah I stripped out all the stems and let it soak for a while in the ice water. Churnin' it up now. lol, I got ice chunks flying out at times. Want to be sure I grind up those buds really good.

Well if you don't get anything a second time thats good that means your bags are catching everything they should and your threads on your bags are staying in place and same thing if you don't get anything on a second run of your trim means you got most if not all on the first run. Good luck hope you get some fine quality hash :peace:

Man that's a lot of work. I'm about done mixing gonna start pouring and squeezing into the bags. What about all those big ice chunks that are left? Guess I'd better keep them out huh?
