Oh crap!!! I had made some cannabutter yesterday with an ounce and a half of dank bud in three and a half sticks of butter. I dumped the cheesecloth buttery buds out the back door when I was done. This morning I let the dog out and he found it and ate it all except for the cheesecloth but he'd been chewing on it. He's a 55 lb blue heeler.
Crap he's so stoned he can't even walk. He's spinning around and acting delirious. I sure hope it doesn't kill him.
Oh hell, he just threw up.....

Dude what a scary experience. I've never seen anything or anyone so messed up in the 30+ yrs I've experimented with cannabis and other recreationals. He's groggy this morning but much much better. Even ate a little this morning. This dog has never had a mistake <pee or poop> in the house but wet his bed twice during the night. I was up with him all night just watching and comforting him. Damn that was scary, I'll certainly be more vigilant in the future. What a lesson!

Did you grind up the buds or were they whole and the reason your dog got so fucked up is because dogs digestions are much better than ours so the thc breaks down better in there system. They can get something like ten times as high as us from eating pot. It doesn't even need to be heated first for them to get high.

Hey Slab

So glad the dogie is ok. Whew! close call.

I am in the same boat as you with a lot of strains but I can only handle 12 plants in the end. You have a much bigger area so you can have more.

If you are only going to do 3 strains you are going to have a multitude of opinions. THose beans are all good. The JTR I grew is my best strain for 2009. V Kush is also a good one. I would do like I said and be selective with the females I cloned out of the 10 seed ones. You usually have 3-4 areas so you can have some of each strain in each area or 3 strains per area would be easier to manage. Pick and clone only the best of the litter. Remember you have a loss percentage to cope with. If you plant all your JTR in one area and it gets flooded or termited or cow trampled no JTR for you. Select the best strain for your area after the grow.

Thanks guys. Yeah that was something else. I figure he ate about a qtr a stick of cannabutter besides eating the unremoved thc from the chaff, the stuff I didn't get squeezed out and chewing on the cheesecloth. It was scary seeing him almost comatose for hrs. And the farting was nasty, almost continuous stinky silent gas. Damn! It took right at 24 hrs for him to be able to even walk straight and he slept most of yesterday except for a few hrs. But today he is back 100% today with no signs that anything ever happened. Amazing!!!

Good to see ya back around gt. I take it the road trip was a smoking success? Most excellant. :leaf:

Still undecided on exactly which beans I'll start. JTR and DQ for certain. That might be all, hell I might just try to cross for some Dairy Ripper or Jack the DairyQueen, lol. Hmmm? def gonna clone the best like crazy from the best ones of each. I got my FFoF and rapid rooters already to go but gonna wait for the moon just now.

Oh yeah did everyone get their order in on the 15 free beans from attitude? I did, for less than $15 for 5 new strains on the way. Gotta be a lot of new threads on those, hahaha. That Attitude is awesome. I didn't even order anything just got me the freebies and already packed out. un fucking believable :weed:

Absolutely not, my dog just had a mega-overdose and was fine after a day to sleep it off. ha I'm just glad my big bulldog didn't get into it. I don't think I'd have been able to move him around very much.
The very worst part of it was my ol freakin out and crying and ranting. damn lol

Hey thanks general. Don't ya know it?

That silly dog was wanting in here with me today while I was trimming and bagging. I put up a dozen quarter pounders for friends and he was besides himself wanting in the room. He finally fell asleep against the door so when I opened it he would know. pretty clever, ha. Was sure sniffing my hands with all the hash buildup. hahaha STOP THAT!!!!
Damn my back is aching now better stop and burn. :leaf:
