damnit... farmers land, hes bound to see sometime... Slab... get yours ass over to california and get your MMJ card for those migraines you have.... then its nothing but smiles my friend.
All kidding aside I almost did that after graduating high school. Reagan had just been elected (the first time) and our government had been spraying the pot fields of Mexico and Columbia with the herbicide paraquat. I remember a friend coughing up blood after an extended smoking session of the tainted weed. Ah those were the days. Anyway Humbolt county was THE place for a young man wanting to get away from it all and grow weed. I was working in the oil fields of Texas and Oklahoma just saving up for the chance to get away to the promised land. Ha, anyway I got tangled up with a sexy long legged country girl and wound up making lots of babies.
nice grow . i sure miss growing out side .
Thanks for the visit there southern. Growin outside sure has it's share of ups and downs. But the light bill is free.
really nice grow,it looks like the weathers treating you well, the prairies of Canada have been cold and raining,i have new growth turning purple already, one night last week i saw my breath.but your plants are going to make for a happy winter, and that wild boar. made my mouth water.i love wild bore meat,a guy i know brought a bunch up to farm, shit nothing keeps them in the pen,now we got them roaming around, their mean bastards.but nothing like a hoot a cold beer and some BBQ boar.good weather to you here on out.
Thank you trapper for the kind words and story. Those pigs will be everywhere now. Oh Lord! Yes the boar meat is delicious, reminds me to make a big pot of chili for later. mmmm mmm Wow, already seeing your breathe huh? Reminds me of the time I spent in the Wyoming Idaho area around 7500 ft too damn short a season to grow outside. Good luck with those purple ladies and I hope the frosts favor you enough to finish them out.
Well the big rain chances just fizzled right out. Nothing, nada, not even a sprinkle. What's a farmer to do? No rain = time to spray!!! So I mixed up a couple of gallons of spinosad and hit the ground with my sprayer. WOW, the buds have just jumped at those bloom nutes. New growth everywhere and pistils galore. They were certainly ready for the extra phosphorus. yummy. I sprayed those 3 areas really good. Soaked the buds, drenched the leaves, and up underneath all the leaves. Every so often a leafhopper, or a thrip, or a grasshopper, or a moth would fly/hop away so I know they needed it. I'd have to look back but it hasn't been long that these were sprayed. A week maybe. Bad news is I didn't take the camera with me. It was still dark <watching the persaids meteors while tending the weed was surreal> and didn't want to risk losing it. If you're growing outside you better be spraying or praying. I read in greenthumb111's grow where he already had budworms fucking up some buds. Get at it - NOW!!!!
Hey, I just remembered I picked up some new seed yesterday. I rode over to an old buddies place and he hooked me up with some of his "special reserve". LOL, we always trade weed so it was nice to get something new. It is some thick skunky bud with seeds. Yeah I know lots of people think seeded weed is crap but this smoke was very euphoric. I like a sativa dominant stone especially when out in public. I get all goofy on couchlock indica out in the paranoia of society. And I was on the scooter to boot so had to remain conscious.
It has a nice taste and a really fast buzz that stays a long time. I'll be labeling this T's Reserve and plan on growing some out.
It sure is nice to have such good friends.
