Firstly, I have to second the 'dro' movement, that word can rot in the dirt along with 'shwag'
I'm guilty of calling a quarter pound a 'cupid' - But I like the sound of it, and it originated as a term used on the phone so anyone nearby listening in couldn't be sure what you're talking about <- of paranoid decent I guess
I also dislike the term Marijuana (or Marihuana) as this term was introduced as a means of confusing the public and tricking them into making Cannabis and Hemp illegal as they were told it was completely different to Marijuana, Marijuana being worse than Heroin of course??? ... Due to the lack of means to communicate over a large area of peoples without media/press connections at the time, Marijuana aka Cannabis was made illegal before people were informed that Marijuana, Cannabis and Hemp were all the same plant, and are all now illegal! Fukn lies paid for by alcohol and oil tycoon's, backed by an either greedy and/or ignorant government. Pisses me off. <-- Oh, that's the quick/basic version of the story
lol
I have to second the Kush movement also, I've never grown Kush, I'm not a big Indica fan, and I'm sure it's got all the characteristics that all Indica strains share. Nothing new or special in my opinion. I only noticed it getting popular when rappers were going on about it, which says a lot considering I heard people rapping about it and I almost never listen to rap/hip-hop unless someone else is playing it and I just happen to be able to hear it!!!
I say bring back the Sativas!!! - They're getting bred out by Indica dominant Commercial Strains, so sad, most people have never even tried the rocket ride that is the Sativa High!!!
RetiredToker76 - Your post makes me LAWLS ... Oh, wait, it's LAWLZ with a Z is it? Oh who cares. There's too much stupid slang out there to keep up with these days. I'm guilty of using some of it, but I'm white so I stay away from terms like 'niggaz' ... Also I don't listen to hip-hop/rap music so I really don't pick up on a lot of these new terms when they are
made up so that they fit into a fucking rhyme <- Previously known as a poem!!!
Some of my not so close mates laugh at my lack of 'up to date' slang, saying that I should get with the times. I just say I'd rather come across as ignorant to the ignorant than actually be ignorant. That usually confuses them enough
