HA! Thanks. One thing I will say about this strain is it very sticky. I have a glass one hitter that will usually actually give me about 5 or 6 hits. SLH will clog up the bowl on 3 or 4 and I can never quite get that last bit in the back lit.

Looking bad ass dude. I have one bean germinating right now, I should be up and running by this weekend. I have a very similar setup, other than not having to worry about the space. I have a few questions if you don't mind.

How long did you end up vegging it for?
After transplant into FFOF, how long did you remain watering with water only? Or did you continue regular feeding schedule with the nutes? (it'll be a first FFOF grow for me)
You've topped it past the 3rd true node you said? Which week was it around?

I hope it's not too many questions, it's my second grow and I want to make sure I'm doing it right with SLH. Thanks a lot for the input. +rep sir.

I think 5 weeks, which was too long for me. This strain will spread out the bud if you let it get too tall, so if you want heavier colas try to keep it short particularly if you don't have a mega light.

I started with FFOF...and it might be the last time I use it. I only transplanted one because I had a runt in the pot and luckily I had a back up in a party cup going. IMO the FFOF soil gets way too compact at the end. Some other guys I am watching rec fox farm happy frogs, but I have never used it. I would at least cut with some more perlite. To answer your question though, I started in on light nutes at about 2.5 weeks.

I think it was. I was going for 6 colas. The timing is in this log, but I think it was around 2.5-3 weeks in veg. If I had to do it over again, I would have just gone for a couple tops. The bud is too spread out on this grow IMO.

I've haven't found FFOF to be too hot for seedlings yet. I think those people start on the nutes day 1 or just buy into needing to buy yet another product. You can see on page 2 of this log...started from seedlings in this soil. I do have a bitch about the way this soil ends up. One my plants is probably gonna yield half of what the other is because of compaction issues.

Here are the 2 plants. 1 day shy of 9 weeks. I think I'm going to chop the tops on Sun and lower the light for the bottom half.

Final yield from the top half of the first plant. The other plant yielded a half a jar this size...not pleased with that one.
Both went back under the light to finish the bottoms. I suspect the yield on the bottom will be equal to the tops.

What was your final yield? I have a 6 ft super lemon haze outside that is just started flowering... She's gunna be a tree

Not sure yet. Chopping some more today. This is going to be a 3 phase chop due the middle being so thick and the plant being so tall. Final result will probably be in about 3 weeks, but I'm guessing +/- 3 oz. I've only smoked one of the plants and it turned out very well. I advise drying with the leaves on and then trimming prior to going into the jars. This made huge difference in taste and smoothness over last time where I trimmed before hanging and drying.

Nice grow I've been looking at SLH and The Church for my next grow. Going to try scrog next time around too. That stretch is crazy I'm doing a SOG with Tangerine Dream right now, I'm hoping be done soon who knows. How long did these flower before you had the mix of clear, cloudy and amber trich's? Last day I saw was day 60.

They advertise these SLH to produce 800g/sq meter and The Church I think around 700g

I use a 600watt HPS in flower and veg with a 250watt MH
Very nice grow I'll be watching the rest, better late than never. I'am DocGreenThumb I had to make a new account not sure what happened to mine I wasn't on for awhile and can't do anything on it.

Mine were so tall and I was only using 400w, but I believe I pulled the top harvest somewhere between 62-64 days. I like to let em milk up some, this strain will not go amber on you in a hurry, but I try to keep the amber under 5% as I don't like it. To answer your second question, yes it is more of a social uplifting high, so a good daytime/party smoke. If you let it get a little cloudy and just a very few ambers it will mellow just right and not be so racy.

The 250 cant penetrate very far. If it were me, I'd LST the hell out of the plants. Try to get them short but real bushy.

I did a grow of SLH last summer. It was slow rto start and slow to grow, but in the end I did OK. Damn good weed, too, and REALLY improved with a long cure. I ran a 600 HPS to flower and a T5 to veg.
