That's easy, they are self cloning. They shoot out runners. You let the runner sit on the dirt until it forms roots then cut off and you can move it then.

WalMart has strawberry plants in lawn and garden, they have bags with the onion sets that are basically a strawberry root system. You plant it and it'll grow. They'll only 3 bucks for a bag of 10 or 12.

found them today ! 3 bucks, bought 2 live ones too.
and corn,watermelon,red pepper

got everything planted up in the starters...about 200 total.
just gotta work on where im planting everything in the garden now:o

I'm glad you found them Weedman, they're on my list of things to get this week. I'm going to get the ever bearing ones, June bearing isn't enough for me, I want strawberries all season.

Walmart also has yukon gold seed potatoes. (always buy seed potatoes, the ones that you buy to eat are treated with a grown inhibitor ) I want to pick up a bag of those too.

I'm making a strawberry tower since I have lots of plant pots of different sizes.

Strawberries only need about 6 inches of root zone.

Really? The walmarts here have all kinds of herbs and veggies for sale in flats in the spring. Right now it's a bit early for it, but they'll load up on them in about a month.

5 hot pepper seeds germed. i dont know which ones, the pack i got had 5 kinds all mixed together. i did my best to seperate them into 5 piles but pepper seeds mostly look the same. i started 2 of each and so far both of 2 kinds germed and one of another. i also have a bunch of green peppers about to split germing.

im not using the peat pots anymore, the outsides get green fuzz on them and it just seems like im already using alot of them and im not even close to done. ive got some nice 2 1/2" plastic pots to start in now.

ive also restored my growroom to its former glory. i used to grow quite a bit more before i became a single(only basically) parent. since ive been keeping my plant numbers in the misdemeanor range some lights have been decomisioned and growspace turned to storage. but now im about out of room and i have many more veggies i wish to get started.

yesterday i cleared out all the dusty BS, rigged up the rest of my T-12 fixtures(10-4' 40w tubes and 52w cfl all together now for veg), and put up some more shelving for storage.

I bought some rooted everbearing strawberries and got them planted in a strawberry pot outside yesterday. The bag said contains 10 but I got 13.... w00t.

Today my veggies that have been inside are going outside for a few hours again. I was a bad mom last week, I let the basil get a little sunburnt so I've kept them in for the last 5 days.

Yes wally world, they're in bags by the onion sets and seeds and stuff. They were $3 bucks per bag, they have everbearing and June bearing both.

They're mostly a root system, but mine had some new growth on all of them.

heres the pic of my growroom rebuild. the upper level was storage before, i added another storage shelf on the right side of the pic, the lights on the upper level, and eliminated my drying area(gonna need a new one soon!:hump:).
