yeah, me niether. thats the first one i got like that, ive been tuning my training until now. i think i got it! it looks like my two veg girls will bush out similarly, i cant wait for the chubby ill get looking at TWO of them sexy bitches.

Kalimist- right now all my girls are Nirvanas Northern Lights. i have a NYC Diesel bagseed male im going to breed with one of my girls here any day now. should be interesting, NL is short and heavy and NYC D is tall and light.

hey what slick, zen here. man i've been following page your page and i really must say that you really know what you're doing, as far as the way you grow your plants. some might say that you would get less yield, do you? i would think not because instead of a big cola and some smaller branches, i think that the evened out canopy would give more. i don't know, holla back and let me know what resulst you've experienced. but back to what i said that is totally awesome. i'm going to save this journal and use it as a reference, because the very next batch of clones that i put together(probably about 12-14) i'm going to do all of them like that. so hey man thanks for sharing, cause that's what it's all about.

ZEN - thanks man, im not one to take compliments lightly and thems some kind words. as far as yield, i dont really think my way gets me more so much as what it does get me is spread more evenly with the multiple top buds. when i grew these without any training at all i got massive single colas(i called them forearms!) but i got very few secondary buds and TONS of fluff. currently i get 8-10 primarys(1/8-1/4oz dry weight ea.) and 10-20 secondary buds(1-2 grams ea). i pinch off any growth that starts to form bud below the secondary canopy as it will only slow upper growth.

as for the sharing...it takes a village....my pleasure

okay, the last girl i harvested got about a foot taller than i wanted for a couple of reasons. for this reason i harvested the top half first, then let the bottom go for another 10 days. it was a great success IMO, the bottom buds filled out dramaticly. heres a pi of just the top colas from a single plant.

hey slick, what up? look here i got a question and hope that you could answer it for me. i've got an indica plant that has been flowering for going on 9 wks now jus about all of the pistils(bout 95%) have turned light brown, but upon closer inspection the trichs are still clear, well about 90% are still clear, and some cloudy to half cloudy, but the smell is crazy loud. what's going on here do you think that i need to let it go for about another week or two. your advice please.

patience my friend... sounds like your almost there. now some of this is up to your own personal preference. if you harvest when still cloudy you will get a more heady high, if you wait till they amber out its more like couchlock. i like a bit headier of a high myself most of the time.
