Slow growth??

I agree.. Im veggin now and I have 17 cfls on 4 lil babes that are about 20 days old... whatcha think, enough? or add a lil bit mo
ANNNND Im mixed on how far away to put them, rather, how close to put them to the plants?

One fan on the lights kills basically all their emitted heat.. so sometime i want to wrap my plants around the cfls and have my plants fuse and consume them via phagocytosis... yuuuummmmm IF i was only god, we would have physics that accepted that...

on my list of things to getr in a couple weeks, i know im def below recomended, but ive been doing sunlight, plus cfl, and wow the growth has def increased in only 3days, its amazing i must say,, its a number to of most incredible things to see happen the only thing ive seen thats more amazing is the birth of my daughter,,, but watching what this is becoming, out of a tiny seed, wow,,,

YES it tis marvelous isnt it... and that statement can and should be applied to all plants everywhere..

I got into biology bc of growing. yet, growing other plants, even other fruiting bodies aint got shit on the ole weed grows... Something just seems right about it

Keep them a couple inches away, but keep an eye on the plants so they don't grow into the bulbs and touch.
How many watt and what Kelvin rating are they?

I'm having a similar problem, I started growing this random seed I found in my bowl pack that I had missed, so I decided to germinate it and see what happened. To my surprise it took off with in 36 hours. I used a cardboard box, lined it with aluminum foil, and up until now it was growing great, I've taken a 24h light approach for vegetation but I got up to small 7-node leaves and it seems to have given up. I have it in soil, but only one of the swirly lights in there. Being that it's only one plant would it hurt to put another light in, or should I only keep the light on 18h a day?

18 h a day is better than 24 h without a doubt..gives them time to rest and restore energy
