So, I guess I’ll do one of these journals since Aaron has inspired me. I’m not a expert nor am I a long time grower. So feel free to join in and bring experiences, knowledge and humor to this post. We are now a licensed cultivator in a state that will remain undisclosed. We are running coco bags, 0.3 gpm drippers, FloraFlex’s full line and power si. For the first run we wanted a stable feminized seed so we went brothers Grimm Rosetta Stone.

These Rosetta’s are being flipped tomorrow so I’m trying to catch up to there but I also popped 250 Cinderella 99’s Sunday so they’ll be going into coco this weekend. I’ll take pictures of them tomorrow. Back to Rosetta. Here is her through the 4 week veg.

After some pruning this weekend we moved them to flower room one and will be changing the light cycle tomorrow. 172 plants made it to this room. The other 28 were cut for various reasons. All 172 were cloned for mothering purposes. I may pull 20 because I’m thinking they may become completely unmanageable in the near future. Right now they are at 1.72 sqft per plant. 3.0 ec 6.0 ph. 6 350ml feeds from one hour after lights on (8am) till noon them 350 ml at 2,4,6 and 8. Light out midnight. 1200 co2, 850 ppfd, 82 degrees, 52-54 rh. I was absolutely amazed at how much co2 they consumed in veg. I see people asking about co2 in veg often and I can show you with the pulse monitor that enough plants in a sealed room need co2. We had 1500 ppm at lights on (8am)and we were at 220ppm by 1pm.

Today’s activities were putting 30 Communion seeds into cubes. Changing water in seedling trays and mixing nutes in batch tank for flower room one.

We have had multiple pump failures this week. It’s totally my cheap asses fault. I was using harbor freight transfer pumps for feeding and tank circulation between feeds. I’ve ordered Leader pumps. So we had a little clawing on a few plants yesterday. After a new batch tank and some rest they should be happier.

The harbor freight pump mechanism is not the failure point. It is chunking the plastic bushings between the impeller and motor. When this happens the fan starts throwing melted plastic bits in all directions then causes a rotor to stator contact in the motor creating a dazzling display of sparks followed by a tripped breaker. Lol

The Rosetta Stone lady’s are really starting to stretch out. We’ll probably trellis them this week. I’m very happy with the canopy considering it’s all from seed. Flower room two is almost done. We will finish assembling the tables tomorrow or the next night. Our c99’s are starting to fill in their second and third leaf sets so I’m excited to see what kinda keepers are in there. The new Leader pumps are badass. 50+% quieter than the pos pumps I was trying. Feel free to comment as I ramble throughout this journal. I’m completely obsessed and always willing to learn something.
