Small Cabinet? Carbon Filter?

Thank you for anyone's suggestions in advance and pardon my ignorance of certain terms. Now, the problem I'm having is that I have a small custom grow box (I wanted to start off right). They installed the strong PC fans and I ordered the inline filter and fan, but didn't think it took up so much space. So, I haven't installed it. The PC fans came with these small made to fit carbon screens and they OK, but do I need to really install my carbon filter and fan for one plant that is in a literally 14 x 14 x 46 inch cabinet that has PC fans with carbon pre-filters? My space is really tight in my closet. I can provide photos later.

Say this plant makes an ounce of flower. Hell, 15grams.

Imagine that fresh amount of weed laid out on the kitchen table. If it's loud. The whole room will stink. Any reputable stoner could smell it from 50 yards off.

Shit South Cross, you're making a valid point. You think the little carbon pre-filters will hold the smell in a light tight cabinet?
If not, can you help me find a thread that is great for understand ways you can set up your carbon filter and fan for a small space?
Also if I run them in my actual closet what does that do to the air I'm going to breathe?

Whatever exhaust comes out the space. It has to pass through a carbon filter. You can buy just any shape of filter that's charcoal.

I'd use an outside cover for a inline blower carbon filter. It's a wrap, carbon embedded, that wraps the filter.

I'd make that into a small box cover. Covering the computer fan exhaust. Not next to it. A chamber after the fan. The fan would blow into a carbon filter box or dome. Or a solid box with one side covered in the filter. A space for the fan to blow into. Allowing time for the charcoal to absorb it but let the air flow freely.

Can I post a pic of a cabinet similar to mine? Or a link?

You can locate the fan/filter outside the cabinet, just watch out for stank leaking out through the fan itself.

I was asking southcross if he had one of the design he was thinking of. I'm having trouble or visualizing it.

that pink tube is supposed to be part of a home made carbon scrubber. The bit the bend is connected to is the 14w kitchen exhaust fan. Which surprisingly pumps out a fair bit of flow.

The two timers control a circulation fan. And the exhaust fan. The blue panel runs the light channels and controls the light cycles.

Thanks for the visual. I had to learn that the filter and fan can change direction based on being in or out of the cabinet. I ran mine out of course. This thing kicks ass. Thanks everybody.
Cabinet fan attached, duct connector, attached to hose, attached to carbon filter fan duct hose clamped to carbon filter.
