They get you stoned, but they aren't like regular plants. Those plants are only like 12-14" max. I originally bought them to grow outside stealth-like, but the fuckin bugs ate the shit out of them first night they were out there. So I moved em into my tent, but that was in my crawlspace and humidity was way too high. I just built this cab last weekend and its working out pretty well. Temps are running around 82-83, which I'm fine with since I keep my AC at 78. If I ran my AC lower or it was winter it would probably be 76 or 77.

What do you think you yield will be every 8 weeks put of that cabinet?

Well after the auto's are down in about 2-3 weeks, I'm only running regular photo period plants and since I'm only running 150 watts I'm hoping for 2-3 oz. Which is more than enough for me. It's strictly personal stash. I too eventually want to find 1 or 2 good mother plants and just take clones and flower them in 1 gal pots. I can fit 6 1 gal containers comfortably. I figure even if I get 1/2 oz. out of each I will have 3 oz total.

That's why I think you should get a 400 or 600 Dimmable ballast. I wish I had bought that instead. The 150 hps cost me around 80$ at my local hydro shop and a 400 watt on ebay is like 150$ with a cooltube and dimmable ballast + bulbs. You can pull a lot more with more light.

Im getting the 600w cool tube. Not the best selection but there is always the wanrranty and u can always save up for a better ballast and bulbs.

With those being autos why dont u add a little cfl side lighting, that way those lower branches stretch some.

What's a dim able bassist for? I mean don't you want max light all the time?

I'm trying to keep the power to a minimum and I'm happy with the 150. Its about 6" from the tops of those plants giving off 16,000 lumens. CFL's, I feel, wouldn't do much but use extra power and give off more heat. And 3 of the 7 are photoperiod plants. They were started on may 12 and just went into 12-12 on this past Sunday.

If I'm going to be away for a few days or if my plants were recently stressed - I use the dimmer, very handy at times.
