i have this dressor thats about 3.5 high by 2.5 wide and 2 deep and i was looking at a 70 watt hps at a local hardware store, how many plants is this suitable for? even one? should i combine it with some flos. ? and my last question is that i here its not a good ideal to flower with hps but is it possible?

I don't think a 70w hps would put out much heat. If vented properly you could run it in that space no problem, but you have 5 square feet there and 70w is not really enough. Although maybe you could do one nice plant in there with it, but i'm not even sure if that would work? And to answer your last question most growers will tell you that HPS IS IDEAL for flowering.

I had the same setup and my 70w HPS produced heat between 90-100 degrees. I had to scrap it. Eventually I moved out of the box and into a small cabinet and it was a good idea. If you're going to stay in the cabinet you'll be struggling with temps your entire grow. Best thing to do is get a nice fan and put a new frozen water bottle behind it every day or so to keep the temps down.

i meant for veg growth my bad, but yeach 70 watts just arnt impressive for me, dont give off much light, im allitle afraid of buying one cause im just not sure its enough light to grow a full bushy plant like the one that is growing in my imagination

Yeah I'm telling you from experience the 70w's just aren't worth it. Read the FAQs on lighting to get more info about CFLS -- they're just the spiral fluorescent bulbs you can get at Home Depot or Walmart. Just attach them to the round aluminum reflectors and plug them in and you have a light. If you can't find CFLs anywhere around you, you can go to 1000bulbs.com, they have a good selection. For vegetative stage, you want the color spectrum to be around 6500K (in the description). The more lights the better, but CFLs can get hot as well without proper ventilation. I'd suggest searching for a 65w Fluorescent floodlight. If you can possibly move your grow into a closet, I'd recommend getting a 400w HPS light for flowering, it's really the only way to go; however you can flower with 2700K CFLs... but if you're looking for good results then you won't find them with CFLs. How much weed are you looking to get off one plant?
