yea i still havent decided officially what to do with my ventilation yet....
and yea your right about the drawback in my design, i have pieces of wood under the plants right now and will take them out as the plants get bigger

nice grow...make sure you cover all the light leaks during your plants dark periods..because otherwise you are going to mess up thier lightcycle and turn them into hermies

i try to keep their dark periods consistant to when im sleeping so theres no light in my whole room let alone my closet, once i make my ventilation permanent i will make a cover for the box so i can take the lights off and cover the top during the dark periods... thank you :)

I'm a newbe, just started reading and making preliminary plans for a grow box. I didn't know you could use that kind of light. Are they cooler to operate? And, how many watts per square feet? By the way, call me paranoid, but, as a photoshop pro and a crime novel junkie, I think I'd be cautious about posting pics of my fingers. Some states only require something like 5 matching points for a positive ID.

yes cfls are cooler, there's a whole section in the forums about them. if the cops really wanted to bust me, they'd do it, they dont need a picture of my finger to do it either

Ha, intrested in your grow. I started a closet grow with a couple cfls. Not many bulbs but will do work once I determine males or females. Its nice to know theres other people out there doing the same shit I am.

sorry for no updates, been real busy. pics today, my healthy plant is doing great, the other two good ones have been acting up a bit lately, i dont know why, i thought maybe they needed more room for new root growth so i transplanted them the other day, still no improvement though...
