small indoor set-up with some outdoor seed

Sup!

I have been looking around the site for a few months and decided to grow again! :-D, I read about 100 different threads and posts and forums and you guys seem to know and help more! I have grown before, but not with all the right lights and soil so those yields were minimum and the plants grew slowly and very tall. This time round with a very limited space and a small budget I set up a mini "grow op"

I have a very very small indoor setup in some old bin that I have. Lined the inside with tinfoil (only temp. For 1 or 2 more days), got a nice bucket and some nice potting soil and germinated 2 seeds using the paper towel formula and handling the seeds with a tweezer and germinated 2 more seeds directly in the soil. I'm using a 65watt 6400k daylight cfl and a 20watt 4000 (highest I could find around in the "normal size") cfl with a fan blowing into the bin over the lights and plants through a vent hole that I made at the back of the bin. My bin is about 30cm x 30cm x 70cm

I planted 4 seeds in total and 3 has come up so far so the lights are on and the fan's running. With both lights and the fan the temp. is about 24 - 26'C. In this small space I will propably only grow 1 MAYBE 2 of those plants anyway, don't know how to choose as I have to choose now and its still very early!

I have pretty high hopes with this setup even though I know I propably can't grow a very big plant, any advice from anyone?

I attached some photos, of the full setup, from the top, of the plants and of the vent hole.
Thanks

i grow in a similar sized setup, 1 plant probably is what you can flower in there
LST is a big help in small spaces, great with cfl's

Yeah when I go to flowering the plant will propably grow too big so 2 won't work..but what is "LST"? I'm From South Africa, so I can't get everything you guys can get though, finding. Something like 20:20:20 or 30:30:30 fertilizer here is near impossible!

LST is free for all of us, stand for Low Stress Training, usually you tie down the top of the plant(gently), and train the top to grow around the edge of the pot
it's great with cfl's because it lets you get the cfl very close to the buds, i.e. a circle of buds around the edge of the pot

That's pretty cool, I've heard of people tying it down but not letting it grow around the pot. At what stage do you do that? Just before flowering?

done early, plants are very flexible when young, just have to start gradual, and some reading
but it's a flexible method, you can train whenever you can bend the plant without breaking

the usual advice is at least 100w of cfl's for a single plant
i manage with 78w, but i have a setup that is tightly packed

I think I will, at the moment I have about 5000 lumens per sq.ft so I want to get about 2 more 20 watt or 1 42watt cfl for flowering, but I'm worried about heat because if the fan is directly on the plants it dries out the soil very fast as it has to come directly from the top
