Small Plant Size

Growing in a 2x4x7 with 8 bulb 4 ft T5 (Quantum Tri phosphor)

Being new I germinated in paper towel (10 reg Gage Green seeds). 8 sprouted and I managed to kill 7 of them. Had them in soaking wet peat pots. Now in FFOF 3 gal container

I hope the lone survivor is a female. She is going on week 3 and is only 3-4 inches tall. temps and humidity are good. 77-80 degrees and 40% RH. Nice circulation. On an 18/6 light cycle.

Is this size "normal". Plant looks healthy. Can i expect a sudden spurt of growth at some point before switching to12/12?

I am also growing 3 Strawberry Cough fem. they are a week in and look good to me.

I have learned the hard way to not over water.

Some on forums are big fans of transplanting. I have decided to mimic nature and have the Strawberry cough in 3 gal containers from the get go. All looks good !!

wouldn't worry too much about height rather amount of nodes

Normal under fluoros,stick her under an HID and watch it grow.

old seeds can take longer. Are you feeding her nutes? i would start with a bloom mix 10/52/10 give her 1/2 tsp per 1/2 gallon of water that will water her a couple times. she is she takes off better. also if your ph is off it will sow her down allot.

No nutes yet. Only 4 sets of leaves. Isn't it too early for bloom food? I'd think at this point more of a veg nute with higher N if any nutes at all.

Yes I would watch any fert on your wee plant. Soon enough once it gets really growing. I too use flouro tubes for clones, moms and for some vegging if the plants are quite close to the bulbs(4-6in). I run them 24/0 and it works alright and the bulbs last for ages when they are not cycling on and off. Best of luck and happy growing to you!

here is one of mine they have had organic soil and 1/16 then 1/8 amount of 10-52-10 day after they went into the soil. here are the pic. they are day 17 from taking the seed out of the bag they came in. they love the extra p. also i add 2 oz coconut water to 1/2 gallon of water with 10-52-10 and every 3rd day now they get molasses.

im just trying to say your plant needs diff things from start to finish give them small amounts i try to never go over 1/2 the required amount in a 3 day period( i mean i take 1 daily amount and use it for 3 days) when they are small even when i grew outside. but when they start to flower then they really want to use more so then i give them another 1/4 to the 1/2 so 3/4 is max but i slowly increase so i can watch them if i give too much they will tell me. i learned that from outside growing. inside is diff you have to learn the lights which im doing now. to be honest i think none of the lights do it perfect a mix is needed. but i have to learn it from trial and error. again im going for quality first then yield. i want buds that taste great and smoke great with a good kick. the yield is a bonus in my book, im not trying to sell or be a dealer who cares about money more than quality.
