My sister needs to be able to try out strains for a while. She has a laundry list of medical issues and we can't be spending $45 every time a strain doesn't work for her. :/

Well she needs hybrids. She needs to try out different ratios of indica/sativa for daytime and nighttime use. She has a heart problem so nothing with too much sativa. She has dystonia, a mitochondrial disorder, heart trouble, etc. The dispensary we used will only sell in 1/8 quantities and they want $45 per 1/8. So we're looking for a place that will let us get a lot of different grams instead.

Buy pre-rolls of various strains a couple at a time.
Ask if they will mix the 1/8 with a couple hybrids.
Or find another dispensary/ delivery service .Cali is full of them. If you are buying top shelf $45. is reasonable.

Idk I guess I'm spoiled from trimming and getting
$15/ 1/4 for top shelf. Seems kind of outrageous to charge that for medicine.

This is why I try and grow my own when I can. If you are close to any of your employers (as a trimmer) ask them to take your sister on as a patient and they can grow for you. You would need to work out the details but that's one way that you can approach it.

The guy I used to trim for moved counties. I'm just asking around at this point. I'm making her some pills for the morning. She has seizures when she sleeps sometimes and I load her mini vape for her and hold it till her hands are working. I'm thinkin if I make some pills and brownies she might have an easier time with the Jillybean we got. Thanks for the responses. I'm not used to obtaining legally. lol

@CaregiverGoneGreen , where in norcal are you if you don't mind me asking? I am in Sac area. Also, have you ever made edibles or topicals before? If not, no biggie, I can walk you through it. It might help to give me a better rundown on the problems/issues your sister has...you can pm me if you want. Then, we can go from there
