Smallest Pot For Tomato Plants Using Nutes?

Deal is I have a hell of a lot of 1 gallon plastic flower pots.

Peppers, chard and dwarf tomatoes

soil volume of 1-2 gallons per plant

Full-sized tomato plants, cucumbers
soil volume of 4-5 gallons per plant

They will have a drip line and also a chemical and seaweed high end fertilizer.

Im pretty much growing "Outside hydro" in soil as an outside container garden.

ya it will work like said already but you wont get huge plants in them all, im doing a few in smaller pots if i have extras.

sounds like your growing in dirt though and not hydro by any means just a automatic watering system.

Yes its dirt,

Its SHITTY zero nutrient dirt in containers with chemical nutes.
Were calling it outside hydro because everything is controlled but the sun...

It could be called anything I guess.

Its actually chopped up redwood forest byproducts with rocks, shells and rice husks..

Im learning, so far only $200 invested.

cheers!

Should work fine, root volume is greatly reduced when water/nutes are being autofed. You're plants will be top-heavy though, I setup my containers over landscaping fabric so I don't have to move them around, and secure them with cinderblocks.
