smell- can a male plant smell?

say, hypothetically, that a plant is showing preflowers. im 80% sure its female. another reassuring factor is that without any buds it is beginning to give off that smell. even when i rub the stems there seems to be a sweet citrusy smell on my fingers.

Lol. Cant wait till mine does :D lol.

I feel like im going to end up smoking even more when that happens... Just wake up in the morning and smell weed? im fucked haha
