smell control

Hello Miss,

Well Ozone is the best, but way too much for a newbie...cost wise and risk wise. So the next best thing is drawing the old air out and thru a carbon filter...keeping in mind to draw in fresh air too. A small circulation fan blowing in the room is good too so the air doesn't stratify and become stale of CO2 that the plants need to thrive. Hope this helps!

Peace,

a carbon filter rigged up to an inline fan extracting stale warm air and drawing fresh air rich in Co2 into the growspace, ideally you want it running 24/7, especially so in late flower to help prevent mould on dense buds, humidity often builds up when lights go out so you need the fan constantly pulling fresh air in, i keep my extractors on 24/7 and id always advise others to do so. an oscillating desk fan keeps air circulating, promotes stem strength, can help prevent hotspots under lights and helps create an even growroom temp, again i leave mine on 24/7. ozone generators do work, but theyre expensive and ozone is harmfull to your health so not a good idea if your grow is in your home. carbon filters and air freshening aerosols/gels are what most people use.

Are you serious? One plant can stink that bad? I live in a camper man, and I plan to have at least four plants in full flower at one time. This could be a problem.

this lot here stink already, when i open my budbox my flat stinks of weed for an hour or so theyre only 1 week into flower, they started stinkin about 4wks into veg. i have to change my c/filter every 9months or so when it becomes saturated with odour particles. 1 plant in full flower can stink out a house without a carbon filter. dont underestimate the stink of a flowering weed plant.......
