Ok this is going to be a half ass grow so dont give me too much shit. I need to leave on vacation in 13 weeks so i have to do a 12/12 from seed grow. Dont worry this is bagseed i got for free so im not too worried about it. I did get my seeds from Nirvana yesterday for when i get back:

5 fem white widow
5 fem northern lights
5 fem bubbelicous
5 fem super skunk
10 free

I will be growing when i get back so im super excited about that. But for now this will ( I hope ) get me through vacation.

I threw these in a tupperware dish with two papertowels and closed it with a lid, 24 hours 3 cracked and 1 a day later. So i threw them in small containers. I just moved them yesterday to a little bigger pots with 50/50 mix of fox farm planting mix and seedling mix. When the get bigger im planning on fox farm ocean mix that i got today. I also have all my nutes all fox farm. Right now i have them on 545 watts of cfls and plan on adding cfls to the sides of my box as they grow but for now that should be good. My exhaust fan moves around 158 CFM and the box is 25 Cubic feet so the air gets exchanged roughly 6 times an hour. Also my humidifier is on high and keeps it 45% RH. Temps dont get above 77 during the day. As i add more cfls ill need to turn my exhaust fan up on high in order to keep up or just add another humidifier (really keeps things cool in a grow box/room.) Overall the box is able to handle 27 lights and 1350 watts. So we will see what happens. These seedlings are 3 days old. Here are some pics. Comments are always a plus.

P.S. Medical marijuana is like a blessing...

that is bigger than my head huh.

that is so funny you tried to call me out and you got exposed. only a noob would brag and not know that anyone can see all their posts and grow journals. ah hahaha.

and ive never seen some use so many cfls
hps 400 watt = 55,000 lumens
hps 600 watt = 88,000 lumens

did you look at the other pics? Its 40 days at 12/12 from seed you fucking idiot. Give me one of your shitty grows that looks even close to this. Go shoot yourself in your fucking face and do this world a favor.

Hey StoneSour. Here is just a little advice for you that I am noticing from your pics. Its looks like you have 4" duct work from your cab. If your running 150+cfm through that ducting you are working your fan too hard and producing more noise than needed. Essentially the frictional losses are around 1.4 and duct velocity twice of what it should be.
Long story short. Increase your ducting to 6" and you will be a much happier person with a slightly lower electric bill and a fan that works for years not months.
Good Luck

Thanks for the advice, the fan is on variable speed so it can be adjusted. Also 2-4" ducts can easily handle 150 CFM with little static pressure.

-edit- Ignore is a wonderful thing.

If you read my post it was one of the tops on a plant in the back. I was talking about one of my bigger plants.

Also I wasnt being literal, all I was saying was dont call me a noob when I can produce this at 44 days.

Sorry I dont know how to put this nicely. But that is wrong. Sure you can push that volume of air through there but it is inefficient and noisy. the max volume you would want to put through a 4" duct would be 100-140 cfm.
The air velocity of a 4" duct with 150 cfms through it is 1600 fpm
Where as a 6" duct with the same volume operates around 700 fpm.
Your static pressure is not the problem, the dynamic pressure is.
If you choose to stick with your current configuration your fan is going to burn up prematurely... or someone will notice the sound coming from your exhaust (if it's at all possible for someone to be near it)
Obviously its not a necessary thing that you scale up, but it will help.

The variable speed control (is at 3/4 full speed as we speak and has been there for a month), then vented out with 5" b-vent through the roof. I just had my in-laws stay for 2 weeks in the room right next to my cab and my father in-law is a 30 year retired sheriff. No problems at all. Fan is working great, no noise (even at roof level, i checked when installed), and no smell. Plus I dont know why your telling me that it will burn up prematurely when this is the application for this ventor motor (hot water ventor motor from tjunderland) the only difference is that im pulling from my grow box in addition to my hot water heater. So realistically im not pulling the whole 150 CFM through my box, prob half, which works flawlessly. Lets say im pulling half the CFM 75. The cubic feet of my box is roughly 25. So im exchanging the air in my box prob 3 times per hour, it gets the other half of the airflow from the open flue above my hot water heater. Hopefully that clarifies some things.
