How does weed smoke effect plants? On the one hand its more CO2 so thats good for the plants

however does the smoke make the stoma close up or the plant react negatively (thinking theres a forest fire somewhere).

ive never had any problems with it. i used to just chill in front of my closet with my bong, lighting up. and the plants never complained [wilted or anything]. so i dont think they mind.

every time i see this question i am baffled that more people don't pipe up about how bad it is for the plants. i mean sure it's not going to make or break your crop and odds are you probably won't notice a difference, but the fact is that yes, smoke does clog the stomata of the leaf. the stomata is how the plant "breathes" and exchanges gasses and whatnot. herb smoke, tobacco smoke, wood smoke, it's all smoke and it all leaves a residue. the co2 thing is a decent point, but i don't think it negates the effects of leaving a film. how is your plant going to use this co2 when you clogged it's stomata? again, not a make or break issue, but i never smoke around my plants.

Don't do it. A bong hit won't hurt but smoke is not good for the plants from a biological standpoint as the post before states!
