Snapped a main cola off.....

Ok so i have been scrogging and my big heavy handed dumb ass snapped a main cola off. So what does the plant do now? Does it repair the break site and then distribute hormones to the lower branches? Will this affect yield or will it allow other colas more energy to grow bigger? I FIM'd so i have 4 mains but now 3 so its not like i wont have any bud but i am just angry at myself. I almost schmited my woman in anger. joking but i am pissed off and feeling sorry for myself that i hurt my little lady

:cry: That sucks on the bright side you have 3 more! Hope you update as to the result, cause I haven't done that before may end up with a new training technique then you can say you did it on purpose lol.

I'm in veg, i chopped a few lower branches off that werent going to make the screen and removed a lot of leaves that were blocking lights getting to the lower shoots on the branches. The plant looks terrible but another week or two it will repair and perk up and continue to grow. At least im hoping it will, time will tell! Heres what it looks like so far, i have 2 a bubblekush and fruit spirit.

Do you have LED color correcting Glasses? If so hold them in front of your phone and take the picture or that's what I do lol. looks great assuming the yellow is just from the LED?

I think the led amplifies the colour more as there are lighter green fresher shoots starting to come up so you can see them clearly here with help from the led's. I'll give them another week or two then a transition week to flower. I like to start introducing small quantities of bloom nutrient near the end of the veg period so they have settled into the soil and are available from the minute the switch to 12/12 is initiated. I'll post a few pics in a week or two so you guys can see the progress of my first scrog. I think if i do anothet scrog i will top rather than fim, with fimming it seems harder because you still have a bit of a xmas tree shape to tackle and then you can run into issues like i have with trying to bend those 4 colas and potentially breaking them off at the top, like i did. Its all a learning curve i guess.

Your fruit spirit looks pised off havent flowerer under led but as far as the snapped cola youl be fine the plant will grow on

She got 5 lower branches chopped, alot of lower leaves pulled, tucked and pulled, and one of her colas snapped she had a rough night but hopefully it maker her a stronger woman lol

I hope so bro, if it doesnt work out and my yield is less than what i get growing traditionally without any manipulation then i will have to make the decision to try again or grow as i know. Its new territory, sometimes i get anxious because i dont know the full process but now i see those small shoots that are exposed to light growing and heading toward the light it gives you the confidence to keep going and keep learning. Like i say the worst thing that can happen is less yield, but the knowledge gained in how the plant grows in different situations is just as valuable as an ounce or two.

It will be fine, just like topping it. That's why I supercrop them over. Get pair of needlenose pliers and give the branch a little squeeze right where you want it to bend. Just enough to crunch the inner layers a bit, you don't want to completely crush it. Then it will bend right over.

Always jusu used hands i might try needlenose one day
