If you tape it up, you will have the best chance of keeping the plant.

Any tape will do :joint::peace:

a photo will be nice.

I have snapped stems and it recovered fine.

but if its fully severed off your better off trying to re root it. But for real, a pic will help me make a more educated and more precise answer on recovery and different options to save it.

As long as it's still together it should heal and make a thick spot in the stem.

The plant will also redistribute growth auxins to the branches below the break causing them the grow more.

Think of it as your arm and as long as it doesn't fall off or ripped beyond repair. Then think man ... duct tape, prop stake, maybe string. Treat it as a broken arm. Cut tape to small strip, wrap carefully, then splint it. She'll heal assuming she's a she.

That depends if it actually snapped, like broke, or just got bent real bad. If it actually snapped, depending on how far into the stalk the crack goes, it MAY be repairable. Try some gardener's tape around the crack, or even some masking tape. There are no guarantees it will survive though, depending on damage. If it merely bent,you should be able to prop it up with minimal worries. Get a stick or a straightened hanger and stick it in the soil and tie or tape it back up. Marijuana is an extremely resilient plant, they're actually somewhat hard to kill, so it should be OK if it's just bent bad.

Sometimes if it snaps and is bent over it'll still grow fine and a new big branch will grow where the bend is

You have nothing to worry about, if anything you can remove that top and your plant will have multiple colas.

Unless the thing is hanging by a thread it will heal. Straighten it up if it isn't already. I just snapped the top of my flowering plant and got it propped up. Have had it happen before and no probs.
