Snapped one of my ladies neck :(

I was trying my hand at stressing her stalk (obviously I should practice on the damned strawberries instead) by bending her over and I snapped her 1/2 way. I immediately stood her up and staked her there. Do you think If I leave her alone now she will heal or should I have cloned her?:?::sad::?:

I reached in to remove a leaf and broke all 3 tops off the best plant, week 4 of flower . . . Didn't find out until the next afternoon when I found them laying on the plant. Too late for me once they dried so much. "**it happens" , the last few weeks have been quite challenging for me personally.

dunno how bad the break is but this is a method of training if not done accidentally, super-cropping .

tape it and it will heal or just let it lay over do its own thing. It will live

If you tape it up it will heal in a few days and leave a large bump on the stem, these weeds are hard to kill.

So I put a spike next to her that was about the same height and used a plant tie to strap her to it. So of course I'm a concerned parent and I ran back in there a couple of hours later to check on her and all of her new growth had fallen over and wilted a bit. BUT I thought to myself that Id' leave her til today to see how she was then decide what my next step was. A couple of hours later I couldn't leave it alone so I had all but decided that if she had gotten any worse I'd just take it as a lesson and let her remaining leaves do their thing, I went out to see her and sure enough she had stood back up. Today, she looks hurt but she is recovering well. Looks like a dodged a minor bullet. And now I know what super-cropping is as well, Thank you dbkick, maybe this is something that will only make her stronger.

it'll heal fine and then stem in that spot will be super strong and thicker than the rest of the stalks.

Super cropping actually does make them stronger and you basically control how you want the plant to grow, personally I find it a little harsh and prefer lst. A knuckle will form at the break and it will end up stronger than before.
