snow leopard

the snow leopard is a cross between my white master(widow male/master kush(south)), and nepali temple indica. the nepali is one of my fav' tasting things ever...it's the sweetest most exotic old world hash...in a word -PRIMAL. alexander and his armies smoked this shit! as good as it is though, it doesn't really compete with the potency of modern hybrids, or some of the afghani hashes. it's also fussy and slow for an indica. so to speed her up and add weight and fuzz, I used the white master, which has no shortage of either. I'm sure there'll be an upholstry glue factor here. it should be some damn sweet weed with decent yields. one more step toward my super hash!:blsmoke:

for now, just F1...I've only got so much room, and this is a side project..as far as strains go; I treat strains like cookbook recipes, (for the most part). there are exceptions, like cinderella for instance; but I've seen enough phenotypic variation to suggest that it's better to follow the recipe, and pick my own phenos to use. I doubt that the snow leopard will be epic, but I'm sure it'd make an awesome indica base for hi- test hybrids.

Sounds like a cool cross man.

If I can ask, where'd the widow in the white master come from?

the master was bagseed, the widow was the brother of 'cherry pez'- from bcseedking. the nepali was bagseed(probably S1) I haven't seen one hermie 'nad on 3 plants from that eighth of nepali; but no males out of the 3 seeds. to clarify my comment earlier about strains: I understand that individual mothers and fathers are one of a kind, unless they're landrace maybe...what I was getting at, is my personal policy on weed- use what you've got. that's easy to say, living on the central coast, with 30 some odd strains to chose from, and 4 or 5 active(though a bit castrated)males. I can grow out 5 or so of a strain, and see what I like. then I clone the crap out of it, and use it for further madness. I'm not looking to isolate a strain for seed production, or strain name licencing B.S...it's just a recipe! you wanna' make some? be my guest. I'm on an F1 freeway! heading god-knows where. as I've said before: strains are families...look for prodigies. that's how I got mungo jerry. the other crystal haze are o.k., but mungo jerry is epic!

we're working with just under 200 sq.'(2 med- cards). the state recommendation is 12 plants. the county guidline says 100sq.' per card, but you have to actually live there. I know of people abusing the priveledge hardcore...I'm not gonna' push it! they say 100'/card, fantastic! you go over the county line though, and it's not nearly as friendly. mendocino used to allow something like 40 acres and a mule, but then it got overrun with some unsavory outsiders, who ended up ruining a good thing. I think sonoma is the same as santa cruz co. one thing is for sure though: it's an extremely bad idea to be tresspassing in these mts.

S.C. Mtn Hillbilly...... Sounds like a nice cross. I've grown just as many keeper strains over the years from good bag seed, as from seedbank seeds. The POTential for something good is always there in a seed. It's like the lottery...... anyone can end up with a winning ticket.
.
I do my growing outdoors here in Arkansas. A beautiful state, but also a place where you will NOT fair well, if you trespass. Many people go missing here every year, mostly in the mountains. I guess they should have listened to the song " Copperhead Road ".... Mary...the modern Moonshine..... & Oh do I love her.... LOL .... I also hear it's not wise to go into the SWAP in either LA or FL...... gators don't play, neither do cajuns.... LOL .....
.
Goodluck with your new cross......

an interesting cross I did on the same mother is nepali vortex. I've never smoked the vortex, but it sure smells wierd! kinda like "catpiss"? I don' know. I do know vortex is kind-of a wuss in the heat. and a nitrogen hog. it just seemed like a good balance as vortex is about 75%+ sativa that's already showing frost...long trichs. the nepali isn't the fuzziest hashplant, but is the best tasting, so that should help the flavor of the vortex, which I find questionable- to the point of considering j.c.2 as my stargate leader.
