Snow White closet grow w/ Pics.

Happy New Year everybody at RIU. Over the last few days I have been doing some remodeling inside of my closet. I realized that if I use the 35 gallon rubbermaid container separately and exclusively as a vegetation room I will get more production and more bud throughout the year. I am still playing around with that idea, but regardless, I will not have it inside of my closet. I want to maximize space to the best of my abilities.

I purchased a vent cover (made of metal) from my local hardware store (and this metal cover is the frame of my lighting).

I went to walmart and I bought two auto windshield reflectors. They were on sale since it is the winter and I got them for $4 a piece. I will be back to buy one or two more in the next couple days. I lined the inside of the closet with this same material.

Now remember, I still have not received my seeds from Nirvana and I only have 1 bagseed growing. It sprouted yesterday and I currently have 4 (6500k) 27 watt going 18/6 on it. I wired 1 CPU fan to serve for air movement until I get my other 2 fans in the mail from Amazon.

I bought a 4'' inline ductfan booster moving air through my carbon scrubber.. For 2-3 plants I feel this will be enough to move the air 1 foot through the scrubber. When I put my hand on the scrubber I can feel the air movement which is good. When I get my other 2 fans I will be attaching my CPU fan to the exhaust (on the door) to boost the air movement if needed. If this ends up not working the way I like I am going to build a freestanding carbon scrubber to go with it to place inside the room, but that I do not think will be necessary. Let me know what you guys think, I'm looking for feedback on the fan system.

Also I will have an air ionizer (outside of the grow closet) to catch any extra odors... and if that doesnt work I will go to my local hydro shop down the road and buy an ona.

I am excited because now when I get my seeds, and they grow, I can add light sources from multiple angles (not just from the top). Also I will be lining the floor with the same material.

here come some more pics, I have finished the bottom part of the closet and have 90% of the light leaks through the door taken care of. pretty much everything is made out of auto windshield reflectors.

If you look at my initial setup compared to now, it is 1000% different, what do you guys think?

Since I eliminated any and all foil it has dropped my temps perfectly. I was between 85-90 degrees before, now the temperature sits between a comfortable 65-75 degrees

It's so nice to see the 25$ I spent on a humidifier has helped dramatically with the low/dry humidity I've had in my as of recent. So far in 3 days my humidity has went from around 20% to 45-50% and climbing! yessss.

lol this grow started SO rube-ish but after about a week, it's starting to come together, lol just look at the first pics i posted, I cant believe I was gonna use the rubbermaid, now the plants are gonna have mad space to chill and grow and bud!

Yeah man I will as soon as my seeds arrive. I have 5 feminized Snow White seeds from Nirvana on the way. I placed the order on the 23rd and expect them within a week. Hopefully x-mas and new years day didn't slow down the shipment too much.

I just cleaned my favorite pipe! lol I guess I will post a couple pics. I ran out of rubbing alcohol so I grabbed some of my GF's nail polish remover she left over her. threw some salt and the nail polish remover inside the pipe, shook it up a bunch, ran hot water over it, rinsed in scope mouth was (lmao first time I've done that) then rinsed with soap + water, then dried it. Believe it or not it has absolute no odor whatsoever.

I soon will be adding a DIY Co2 generator (pop pottle version). I thought about it and I want to get the most boom I can. Hopefully this technique will help my buds get dankity dank dank.

So I have been looking around at different strains, and the Swiss Cheese by nirvana seems pretty nice, anybody tried growing this before? It is supposed to be a pretty quick flowering plant and it is easygoing and forgives.

Well, another day as yet come by. I am going to make a trip to my local hydro shop and see what they have in stock. I've taken the last 7 days off of work in order to use up my PTO (paid time off). This has become an ample time to setup my grow. Everything is complete except I still need my snow white seeds and my 2 mini fans I purchased. I'm so pleased with the way everything has turned out, the grow started really rube-ish and now it has evolved to look and feel more like a real grow. I've been messing around with my timer, (at first I thought it was broken) but I have finally got the setting I want. I have my bagseed plant on an 18/6 light cycle. It is SO cold outside today it is currently 2 degrees

your gonna really like that snow white when it comes smokin time,iam gettin high off mine and its only 4 weeks into flower,iam using a 250 watt hps/mh light i got off ebay (htg supply)i started them with cfls but got tired of constantly adjusting the lights to keep them extra close to the plants.the snow white will grow tall and iam not talkin about stretching.ive got bushes 4 ft tall .one is 4 ft 4 inches.ive had to tie em back cause they were growin past my light.got em in 5 gallon buckets.goodluck with your grow tescu

Woot! My two fans arrived in the mail today. They are thermaltake usb CPU fans. I have to stop at a local computer store to get another usb-ac plugin, I only have 1. I guess I could wire it to a phone charger but w/e, I wanna pay the extra 2-3 and have it nice. My bagseed is doing nice, that lil mofo is growing big, hopefully hes a mofa, eh lol.

Now I am just waiting for my seeds! I will be growing the plants in 3 gallon buckets I've decided, is it really worth going to a 5 gallon?
